Really simply question I have here, is there going to be gifting allowed between players?? Gift cars, gift paints and or tunes??? Mostly just looking forward to having the ability to gift paint jobs to one another…
Are your friends not able to find your paints and download/use them for free?
When you buy a car in Forza 5, a list will come up showing you “Recommended Designs”, while this list is up, press the View button on your controller (the one in the middle with the two overlapping squares) to bring up the “Search” box. Scroll down to where it says “Creator” and type in the gamertag of the person who made the design you want. You can also enter key words to search for a design you have in mind already.Then scroll down from there and hit Search. The game will then only bring up designs for that car created by the player or keywords you searched.
Just tell your friends how to do that and there will be no trouble for them to find the paints you have.
I would also love to know if they have any plans to add gifting(the thing the OP actually asked about). There are a few cars I would like to be able to gift to a friend who rarely plays, so when we do play, he will at least have a few decent cars.
Gifting unlocked paints and tunes allows for collaboration between artists and tuners. With tunes you can tell someone over voice chat all the parts and settings, but that is a pain. With designs, that isn’t even an option.
No. There is no Gifting, and NO Auction House.
Ok, but the question was if Turn10 plans to eventually add gifting. We are well aware this does not currently exist.

The tunes and or paints I have I would like to be able to give to whom I want, not post up so everyone can have it… Idc about AH… Just wanting to be able to give a buddy or 2 a paint or turn… Just like on FM4 (GIFT)
I mean if T10 can gift y can’t we all do it…
