I am having a terrible time beating a Cross Country race where I do fine the first run around the track but after a landing from a huge jump I can never seem to get the top speed back to match the competition. I noticed when the other cars in the series made the large jump in the middle of the race, they landed flat, while I seem to be landing nose first into the ground, losing both speed and causing damage to the car.
Is there a reason I am nose diving this race while the AI opposition seem to be making the jump flat and landing level? is there a way to actually control the pitch or angle of your jump. I am just getting irritated that I am killing it until this jump. I even switched to a manual transmission to see if that made a difference, and still I had issues with power after that jump due to inherent damage to the vehicle that was not showing on other vehicles.
I would appreciate and help.
