Hey, I recently was able to play an online road trip with a silver membership on FH2. I was wondering if this is normal? I don’t plan on buying gold either way since I play on pc natively, and only on consoles for exclusives, but I would be more inclined to spend more time with the game if this is the case.
I did however purchase the VIP pass, so I don’t know if that affects anything.

Yeah, I was able complete a full road trip and I noticed that you get significantly more xp online than offline. I’d rather play online if it results in me getting wheelspins faster.
Is this on xbox one? If the main profile has gold on the Xbox One, it’s shared with the other profiles.
Yes, it’s on xbox one. My profile is the only one on the system. Just found it strange since when I tried to play chaos sqaud on sunset overdrive I was prompted to buy gold, but for this I had no problem joining online road trips.
That is weird. Maybe it was because of some of the server issues.
Had that happen on Forza 5 as well. My gold had ran out but I could stay play Forza 5 online.
