Hi, I’m new to tuning and would like to get some starter points on a good base on the FGX Falcon. Any help is appreciated
Hi,
If you don’t want to raise the PI then all your tuning need to be in the setup of suspension, gearing, aero and breaking. Depending on your experience level you will find the cars are faster without the driver aids such as STM/TCS/ABS.
1.I’ve just in the last two days started to drive without ABS and can easily take 2 seconds off my lap time. You will need to make some adjustments to the brake pressure t avoid wheel lock up. and so on.
2. Adjusting the aero so that the car is balanced the way you like it to be. enough front downforce to give you grip, but not too much to reduce your top speed too much.
3. to in angle can aid your turn in. no need to worry about tire wear as in most case a race is no so long.
4. adjust front dampers compression rate to make sure the car is stable during braking. reduce tendency to dive.
Small adjustments after you see improvements in your lap time becoming consistent
Hope you can find some improvements with these tips.
