A tuning comp with a twist, now that FM is on PC and Xbox…

Details
1 car, 2 tunes:

  • C class for Maple Valley Short being run on my laptop - using WASD controls (ABS on, manual, no clutch)
  • A class for Mugello Club being run on my Xbox - using controller (ABS off, manual, with clutch)

I’ll run the cars until I feel I can’t improve my time.

Aspiration/Engine/Drivetrain swaps allowed - with differences between classes allowed - FWD N/A I4 C, RWD supercharged V8 A for example.

I have all DLC, so anything that you can fit into C and A is allowed.

Closing date - Sunday 21st January - ready for cars to run on Monday 22nd.

I’ve tried quite a few cars and eventually settled on the '05 Lotus Elise 111S.

My setups are ready and shared with CA Tuning Comp in the description:

C500 Maple and A700 Mugello

Good luck driving them and thanks for organising this, I’ve had fun testing the cars.

Thanks Carl, I just searched for cars with plenty of grip that could run in both C and A. I found quite a few but decided to concentrate on the Elise. It’s currently best in C but beatable in A with the right car choice.

My pick for car is the 1972 Mazda Cosmo 110S Series II, and, I shared my first tune for Maple Valley Short (C-class). The tune is “C500 GRIP MVS” with “CA Tuning Comp” in the description.

Will upload the A-class Mugello Club tune later on today.

Tried so many cars this past week , has been a lot of fun and I sure have an arsenal of c500 in my collection now .
Going in with a 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata.
Have shared the tunes C500 GRIP AND A700 GRIP , both with CA TUNING COMP in the description .

I seemed to have the best luck with light weight cars .
So lets see how this little guy will fair .

Picked up all the tunes so far.
We have an S2000, an MX5, a Cosmo and 2 Elises.

Don’t forget to get your tunes in sometime on Sunday.
