I’m all for stock tires, street tires eats up a ton of pi. At that hp range u really don’t need the added traction.imo

Yeah, I wasn’t really thinking when I started this up, lol. Hopefully PRKid, xCriMinaLx, SL4YER and W4RLOCK are cool with it too. I’ll wait to make it official.

STOCK Tires should be fine…and, as you say, we can use the PI elsewhere…so, ala Nike…just do it!

I have an idea to pass by…if it’s a small group, every one can act as a Test Driver and test everyone’s tune except your own. Then we average the results. Thoughts?

Before picking the car of choice and for some fun, I went ahead and very quickly tested a “random” car that met the criteria and was able to hit 12.195 (manual w/clutch, NO TCS). The FD needs fixing to just hot 3 gears, ran with 4 (though not synch’s to line) on the first test. Not sure if this will be in the range of a “competitive” car or not. There is potentially a large selection as I recall of cars that could fall within the guidelines.

I have rewritten on the Tuners garage thread an updated, more clear description of the comp and restrictions. I’m gonna be updating that thread as we go forward. That way there won’t be a bunch of confusion. I sincerely apologize for not starting this in the right place to begin with!!
