I purchased an Xbox one Only and JUST for Forza 5 Lol i am part of the many people out there…
I always tell my wife… Forza 5 cost me $500 not the Xbox One LMAO
None the less best game by far i love it and when GT7 comes out on PS4 it will be a Wholeeee different ball game again i reckon.
So in my opionion get BOTH 
Whatever you do, don’t go outside, don’t do anything but buy and dedicate your life to Microsoft and Forza. Duty now for the future! Forza is God.
I bought the Xbox One for gaming. I have dabbled in a few games but always end up back in Forza 5. It has its faults but if i had my time again i would get the one and forza and not much else.
I’m not a gamer and had zero interest in any games at all until I saw FM5. I went and bought the one solely to play Forza and nothing else. I have no regrets at all. Its a good bit of coin to play only one game, but I enjoy it enough that it was worth it to me. I’ve since tried a handful of other games, but I couldn’t be bothered with any of them. I bought Battlefield 4, played it for ten minutes and never touched it since. Madden kept my interest a little longer, but not much. I’ll probably try NHL when it comes out, but I doubt that will have nearly the same impact that Forza has had on me.
I still want to play space invaders, asteroids, pac-man, and donkey kong on the one. I’m old school, so I’d enjoy that. You guys can have all the modern games except for Forza.
I think there are plenty of people who want you to play space invaders, asteroids, pac man and donkey kong lol. Anything actually to get you away from Forza 
Geez, I know I’m a grouchy old SOB, but to not want me to play anymore? Did those guys in the D class lobbies put you up to this??? 
Me i buy an Xbox one for Killer instinct and Forza 5 and i m happy with that.
I bought an Xbox One just for Forza 5. As time has gone on I have since had Titanfall given to me and I have bought Powerstar Golf. I plan to buy Minecraft because I already owned it on the 360 and will take advantage of the lower price. Yes I will be getting Forza Horizon 2 just after looking at the trailer alone.
The Forza Motorsport games are for me the best thing since sliced bread.
I pre-ordered mine and bought just for Forza. Do I regret it? If so, only because my friends from Forza 4 haven’t come over yet so I play by myself. I wish more games were available that were graphically stunning. I’m not into violent games so all the really cool games that feature shooting people or stabbing them to death don’t appeal to me at all. Why game creators can’t be more creative so as not to rely on killing baffles me. If I were to create a fantasy world it wouldn’t include violence… just sayin. But I digress, lol… Yes, bought just for Forza but very well may buy NBA 2K this week.
I bought the XBox One to kill our cable TV. We play games on it, sure. But it’s Amazon Prime, Youtube, Hulu etc - and the Kinect fitness games - where it really “pays for itself”.
I bought a Playstation 4 to start off with thinking it will be the better console, boy was I disappointed. I then went out got a Xbox One just for Forza but now have a bunch of great games for it.
Now my Playstation 4 is a doorstop.
I bought it just for FM5 but have actually started using the ESPN3 app and other stuff on it. I have had every Playstation and only got a 360 Dec of 2012 just to check out FM4, the online features from XBox were much more impressive than what sony offers. No more sony for me.
My 360 started as just for Forza 2 but I eventually fell in love with other games. Some not even racers. Recently have been going back to it and started over on Fallout 3.
I bought the Xbox One just for Forza 5. I went to gamestop though and traded in all my 360 stuff as I didn’t care for it anymore and with the differing architecture wont be able to play it on the Xbox One (not that I care). All in all, I only paid $60 in cash after trading stuff in for the Xbox One and got Forza 5 bundled for free, so I wasn’t going to turn that down. No, I didn’t have a ton of games that I traded either. With 50% extra store credit toward an Xbox One and having some relatively new games that brought a lot of money it was easier to get that price than I thought.
Edit: I will say I do plan to play other games on it, ie: Quantum Break when it comes out.
It would be better to look at games coming for each console and see which console has the most you want to play, this is exclusives not multiplats. The last thing you want is to lose money on the PS4 and then regret it in the future.
At the time of XB1 launch, I bought it purely for FM5. I would be happy with nothing but FM5.
The fact the ProjectCARS is coming Nov 2014 is icing on the cake.
Oh, yeah, Minecraft coming in August! at $5 for those who own 360 version? That’s how you keep your customers. Plus option to carry over 360 worlds? I’m ecstatic!
So, there are many people who purchased a console for only 1 game. As long as XB1 gets played, number of games really does not matter, does it?
I was unsure which console to get, until I saw this Forza 5
i bought xbone just for forza. all i have is forza and BF4.
plan on no other game purchases until project cars or maybe the halo master thing.
stream a ton of netflix tho.
So, original poster: do you mean that in the next 5 - 10 years, you don’t anticipate buying any other games but Forza Motorsport 5? A gaming console is an investment that continues on with time - it’s value isn’t determined by the first game you plan to play on it. It’s up to you to determine if, in the next 10 years or so, the value of the Xbox One is worth your money today. That said, I’m not one to tell someone how to spend their earnings.

someone might buy an xbox one just for forza in the beginning but chances are you will buy more games. forza games could be your favourite games.
