Bring back old Multi-Class from before Update 21

I’m not sure why they decided to change the multi-class series in multiplayer. The way it was set up before worked perfectly. Choosing from C-Class to B-Class, then A-Class and finally S-Class felt natural. There was no reason to mess with it. That format made races more competitive and enjoyable and honestly, it should’ve just stayed that way.

Because the vast majority of players complained about this format and asked to reduce it to three. Four classes for 24 players on the track is too many. Given that lobbies are often not full, and many players leave in the middle of the race, you often end up competing against yourself in your class.

Where did the B C A S multiplayer class go? The 20-minute races. You’ve completely removed the only thing that allowed me to continue playing your game. Honestly, your 10-minute races? What’s the point of medium and hard tires anymore? All races can be done on soft tires, and there’s no point anymore since everyone else is necessarily using soft tires. And your special classes are the same… 10-minute races with super-short tracks… Yas Marina, short version with R category cars… nonsense… You complete a lap in less than a minute and you feel like you’re going around in circles because it’s so short. No, seriously, please put back the multiclass races like they’ve been since the beginning. You’re free to choose your vehicle as long as it fits a B C A S class with a 20-minute race, not poorly thought-out 10-minute races with short tracks on an R category.

Multi class now cycles every week (i think). The 20 min races will be back when the anniversary series ends. However, not as it was. C/B/A/S is just one of the series in the rotation. Others will be E/D multi class, P/X mutliclass along with some of the featured multi ckass series that have been and gone.

I 100% agree with you, C/B/A/S should be a permanant series. Lobbies were always fairly full, just needed some new tracks adding into the rotation really.

I can confidently say that Multi-Class was one of the most popular and enjoyable game modes in Forza because there was simply nothing else like it.

The Forza team could have just left it the way it was and created a new mode that cycled through different classes each day. Or at the very least, they could’ve just removed C-Class and kept the others. Every time I played Multi-Class (which was daily), the lobbies were nearly full clearly, a lot of people enjoyed it.

The new cycled Multi-Class series felt totally empty in comparison. Barely anyone was playing it, and now it’s been completely removed which is honestly really disappointing. That mode gave players a way to escape the usual overpowered meta cars, and if one class wasn’t balanced, you could switch to another and still have a great time. It often led to close, competitive racing, which is what makes Forza great in the first place.

Multi-Class brought variety, excitement, and strategy. It was a genuinely fun experience that kept me coming back. I just hope the team reconsiders and brings it back

Multiclass is the series I play the most (and it’s not even close).
I like the rotating classes, but it has to stay open, not limited to specific rules/divisions.

Please keep the open multiclass races permanent!

Yes, but all the other races are very poorly thought out… Imagine racing on the shortest Yas Marina circuit in the R category. You do the lap in less than a minute and you feel like you’re going in circles. And the number of minutes is limited to 10 minutes… Let’s talk about it. Everyone uses soft tires… I have my cars set up with sports tires to last 20 minutes while still having a good lap time. Here, in 10 minutes, you use almost no fuel and a soft tire… what’s the point of medium and hard tires?

Reasons why Multi-Class should return permanently:

  • the only place in the game where street and race tires builds can win races
  • the less competitive nature of this event makes it a great place to just go with the flow and relax
  • it’s some sort of a safe place for more casual players
  • lobbies have been well populated recently and people just like it

Please stick to the new rotation of the classes but remove X and P class (very limited car choice) and make it something like this: EDC, BAS, ASR

I respect the idea of rotating classes, but honestly, I think Multi-Class should always stay C-B-A-S. That original structure just worked, it felt natural, competitive and gave everyone a class they were comfortable in.

If the team wants to experiment with rotating class formats like EDC or ASR, that’s totally fine, but they should create a “separate” Multi-Class playlist for that and leave the original version untouched.

C/B/A/S should be permanant

Appearantly this mutliclass series is now rotating with other multiclass series, like from the Porsche update. This was an intentional change:

I really want the ABCS to be permanent as it is by far my favourite series to race in!

Featured Multiplayer [All Platforms]

  • The Multi-Class Series is now permanently available in the Semi-Open Events.
  • We’ve replaced rotating playlists within the Multi-Class Series with a static ABCS playlist.
  • Other multi-class events have been removed from the Semi-Open Events rotation, such as the 20th Anniversary Series, Porsche Multi-Class Series, BMW Challenge, and so on.
    • Developer’s Note: With Update 21, we experimented with a unique rotation of multi-class racing and special events. Since then, we’ve been reading your feedback and closely monitoring player concurrency in these events. Based on a combination of both factors, we’ve made the ABCS Multi-Class Series an evergreen series in Featured Multiplayer Open Events.
