Brands Hatch driving line

I just came back after a long month break to check out the new update and new track.

The “driving line” on the new track literally has 0 effort put into it. It’s just the CENTER of the track all the way through… Who made this, man? Why do they expect people to come back for junk like this?

Perhaps don’t use the driving line?

The answer is simple: don’t come back. I’m loving this game btw, and I don’t use a racing line.

Don’t put much stock into the driving line. You’ll go faster!

That’s how it always was. It’s the same in 7 and not in the middle. What car did you pick? It changes based on that. Always alway go curb to curb no matter what that line shows you.
Not my best lap. Just to show.

No idea why it’s in Spanish🤦‍♂️. This might not play. It’s going crazy.

Looks like normal Forza racing line, I personally use racing line only as brake point reference anyway.

Why does yours look correct?

I’m running an F1 car, it should be the same. The driving line shouldn’t change based on what car you’re running.

Top 10 in the world on some tracks, don’t really think I need to go faster but alright.

Are you really recommanding to a Forza player to not use racing lines ?

never use the drive line for an actual race line but more just for braking reminders

It’s a totally different car with different speed. How can it be the same braking point?

I know people who can. It’s very difficult. You see how few there are on hardcore boards. Not recommended unless you are willing to put in the practice that requires.

Still doesn’t fix what you put up as the topic.

We’re not talking about the braking points, we’re talking about the general driving line. It’s the same for every car on every track. Only thing that changes is the braking distance.

If more people followed the driving line, I wouldn’t be first every single race.

Yea that will be a fun race. There isn’t enough chaos. They can’t do it with it on now you want people to turn it off. Yikes. Make the braking distance signs bigger. I can’t see them with my old eyes. Plus people knock them off the track. It’s a guide not to be followed exactly.

Drove it for the first time last night in the Rivals Lola and whilst it is a little conservative in places, it’s a perfectly fine line very similar to the line taken at most tracks (maybe doesn’t encourage as much kerb hopping as you can get away with compared to somewhere like Road America). Nowhere close to the hyperbole of “CENTRE OF THE TRACK ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!11!eleven!1”

I think I get what you mean…

But, I doubt the A.I. that drew the assist line knows about the fastest lines around the track. Afterall, beating it on difficulty 8 is childs play at times.

Please forgive me for assuming you only meant the assist lines (driving & braking).

Then my game is literally bugged then. Because it really was in the center.
