I searched the forum and tried every solution, but none worked for me. Yesterday, I bought Forza Motorsport 5 VIP Pass for my two kids – I purchased one on my daughter’s account and another on my son’s account. Today I purchased the Car Pass, but only for my son’s account. In all cases, the cars show up as purchased but I cannot actually download any of them.
I tried a suggested fix someone posted in this forum of changing all the gamertag accounts to “this is not my home XBox” uninstalling the VIP Passes and Car Pass and then re-installed them on my son’s account only and opened up the game to find once again that all of the cars show as purchased, but I cannot download any of them. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on and how to fix the problem. I especially find this confusing with Car Pass because my son’s account is the only account we have that purchased it.
I don’t know if it matters but my son has Forza Motorsport 6, Horizon, Horizon 2 and Horizon 3 and I just got Forza Motorsport 5 as the XBox Live Gold Games for Free download this month (that is on my son’s account; the XBox Live Gold account is under my gamertag) and I happened to also have a Forza 5 game disk in the XBox One that we rented last week before the Gold Games for Free.
If no one can help, I saw someone said they emailed forzafb@microsoft.com for a similar issue (in a thread where the problem was never resolved), but they didn’t hear back in 5 days (their last post). Consequently, if no one has a solution can someone recommend how to get in contact with Forza customer service via a channel that they respond to? I saw a form for Horizon 3, but nothing related to 5.
