Bonnet & Bumper cam needs louder engine & tyre sounds

As per title.

The overriding sounds when in bonnet & bumper cam should be the engine and tyres.

When using hood view (my preferred view when using steering wheel) engine sounds for mid and rear engine cars become inaudible to the point where road noise from the tyres is louder than anything else. Even when using a front engine car, the camera being right next to the engine, it becomes so muffled and quiet.

Make an option where engine noise or even exhaust noise can be used when playing with hood or bumper cam is it’s very off putting when an ICE car begins sounding like an EV. It makes getting gear changes right when you’re used to changing based on pitch of the engine noise, and it also makes trying to play the game on wheel much less enjoyable.

I’ve stopped using my wheel altogether for this title, and having to play it on controller as more of a chase cam arcade title just kills off any remaining hope and \love for this franchise.

When in hood cam in most cars, the engine is almost silent.

One example I can give is the new Aston Martin GT2 car. It’s front engined, so you’d think when using hood cam, you’d be able to hear the V8 screaming pretty clearly as the cam is right on the bottom of the windscreen just behind the engine.

Nope. No engine sound, just a distant and faint noise that resembles a car driving maybe 800yds away. You can however hear the transmission whine as you build speed, so why can’t you hear the engine - which is closer to the camera!

This needs fixing as it’s both killing immersion and kills a lot of enthusiasm for the game, as well as being really off putting when you’ve also turned down other players cars.

It’s almost like you’re racing with electric cars that have range extender engines.

For a game centered around cars and racing and “realism” the sound really needs sorting out. I’ve tried all sorts of audio settings across both speakers and headphones, and it still sounds like crap.
