So now that the Bone Shaker was a give away the A lobbies are basically a spec Bone Shaker race. I get that it is fast but I don’t enjoy racing that car. It pushes way to much for my driving style. No matter what tunes or try I can not get that car to rotate in the middle or exit of a turn. Is there something I’m missing? Besides the Shelby what other A class cars can run with a level 12-9 racer who is in a Bone Shaker?
1: The Bone Shaker has to be AWD. This is where it gains most of its overpowered performance from.
2: To eliminate the understeer you are encountering the tune has to be very oversteery. 1/65 ARB setting, 3.0 (metric) front rebound and the rest adjusted from there. Maybe even the Rally Suspension with less than a 3.0 front rebound.
3: At least 80% of the power to the rear. I would suggest something between 85 and 90%.
This car abuses the flaws of the PI system like the other overpowered AWD cars (Track-Tor, Bugatti EB110 SS).
With the correct build & tune the Bone Shaker is an absolute brain-dead car to drive. Due to it’s unrealistically low center of weight and the enormous rear tires there is simply no way to make mistakes with it.
There are track specific cars which obliterate every Bone Shaker like the Clio FE/Lotus 340R/Civic '74 for handling tracks, Ferrari 166MM/Ford “Hula Girl”/older RWD stuff with tons of power for power tracks.
As an allrounder the Bone Shaker is unmatched. The Shelby Daytona, Ford GT40 '64, Bubble Top or '97 GTR R33 can somewhat rival it but are the weaker choices in most cases.
I don’t think anyone enjoys driving this thing because it’s boring as hell. No challenge, no emotions, just overpowered garbage.
I refuse to use bone shaker in races as I see it as op, however i do use it in free roam just for fun as I love hot wheels anyway with the bone shaker being a favourite.
