BMW Java Green :

Metallic Base.

Values -

Base - 0.34L / 0.67L / 0.60R

Flake - 0.28L / 0.48L / 1.00R

Never mind. I was going to post my own values for the color. However, it seems that whoever posted here begore took my values without giving me credit.

Anyway, my values are the ones shown ILLEGALLY in the post above this one.

How exactly is it that you suddenly ‘own’ the rights to something in the game that anyone can freely find on their own? And if someone took values that you posted elsewhere and you’re chapped that they posted them here… Then don’t post them anywhere.

They could have at least mentioned that the values were originally determined by me.

I like Venetian Violet too; happy to share my version

Venetian Violet Metallic
Two-tone polished
X: .790, .165, .795
Y: .685, .555, .265

haven’t tried any of the other colours

@QueenAnne9292 - What values are those ?

As when i’m painting my paint booth inputs are from 0.00 to 1.00.

You’ll notice that for each hundredth there are two positions, so it goes 0.00, 0.00, 0.01, 0.01 etc.

In JaCor’s example he shows these as left (L) and right (R), e.g. 0.65L, 0.65R, 0.66L, 0.66R etc.

QueenAnne is showing these values at 0.005 intervals, so presumably 0.000, 0.005, 0.010, 0.015 etc. although that would finish 0.990, 0.995, 1.000, 1.005 … Of course, he may be starting -0.005, 0.000, 0.010, 0.015.

Personally, I always round to the nearest hundredth and put in the right hand value by default (except for zero). I don’t find that 0.005 difference makes a significant difference when colour matching as there are many other variations in colour in the game and when trying to match real life colours.

yea ^ meant L or R that makes more sense than .000 and .005

And go to special paints, two tone polished, then you can hit X and Y and pick 2 colours

BMW Oxford Green 430 :

Type: Metallic Flake

Base: 0.33 / 1.00 / 0.10

Highlight: 0.33 / 0.50 / 0.24

BMW Marrakesh Brown :

Type: Metallic Flake

Base: 0.07 / 0.93 / 0.06

Highlight: 0.10 / 1.00 / 0.41

He asked for all these colors but not the Frozen Red in the M5 First Edition? I’m surprised, lol.

Actually, the color for the M5 First Edition is not Frozen Red, but the new Frozen Dark Red color. As for every BMW Frozen paint, your best bet is a semi-gloss two tone paint.

BMW Frozen Dark Red (2P, SG)

Tone 1 - H: 0.04L / S: 0.95L / L: 0.70L
Tone 2 - H: 0.00L / S: 0.90L / L: 0.61R
