There are many great examples in the game - however, the sheer number of really bad car sounds overshadow those. You still don’t get the proper sound after applying upgrades - how difficult is that to implement in a game in 2019? And please don’t anyone say “they have too many cars to work with”. In that case PG, don’t have so many cars to work with!
I’d happily take 100 cars in a racing game or less, if every single car gets the premium treatment - with 100% accurate sounds and sound character changing properly after upgrades.
It’s a chore playing FH4 sometimes - I used to love playing their older FH games, just cruising around hearing my car while up/downshifting and just revving it for no reason. Sound has been considerably downgraded since FH2.
