hey guys before I start spending all kinds of cash what are all your opinions on the best sounding car? I like the loud whiney sounding cars , I played a career race awhile back and there was a ferrari in the race and I loved the sound of it but now I cant remember what it was. Any Ideas?
I can’t help you on the Ferrari car issue SmarOneNine, but I do think the Dallara Indy DW 12 Open Wheel car is very good. Its very growly and nasty

You mean everyone doesn’t have three of them lying around thanks to Turn 10 gifts? If only we could gift, I have 3 E21s and 4 LaFerrari, anyway.
If the Ferrari sounded whiney as you say, it was either one of the racing (non street legal) models or someone upgraded it with a supercharger. Typically a Ferrari will not sound “whiney”.
Personally, I like the sound of many of the Ferrari cars even in the lower PI range. The Ford F150 Raptor sounds pretty nice as well, but I don’t enjoy racing it too much. I’ll keep an ear out as I race and update this some more later.
Thanks Guys! The Ferrari that I heard I think is either the 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT or the 1994 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta , I havent tested them yet because I think there both dlc and I havent downloaded them yet.
Any of the three Ferrari 250s. But, in my opinion, the California wins - especially when supercharged.
The GTO would be my second choice of the three.
The TR is nice, but doesn’t drive as well as the others.
Outside those, the Alfa 33 is magnificent.

Alfa Romeo 8c is one of the meanest souding cars in the game, fully upgraded anyway.
The Subarus are also really nice to listen too, especially the 22b and the '04.
03/04 Celica (can’t remember the exact year), a race exhaust on that is also pretty mean sounding, especially when your red-lining it for a second.
The '87 Trans am and the '90 Camaro have really nice souding V8s, when fully upgraded anyway.
That’s all I can think of for now, they’re my most used cars in Tag.

The Ultima GTR720 sounds amazing, as well as the BMW E46 M3 (with race exhaust). They are both cheap but the Ultima is dlc.
The BMW E46 M3 doesn’t sound too bad with sport exhaust either.
Yeah it sounds great with any exhaust - the race version being my preferred choice though

For me the Dodge/SRT Vipers
I haven’t tested it in Forza 5 yet, but in FM4 the Shelby Cobra 427 S/C could be held at redline without bouncing back and forth and it created a pretty amazing sound.

There are a lot of great-sounding cars in the game. The wail of a Ferrari, the roar of a Mustang… I cant’ choose. The AMG’s sound pretty good, my twin-turboed LS1-powered '79 Camaro sounds nasty as heck, but with 735hp, it had better… The '65 427 S/C might take the prize for me, but I have some modified D-class classic four-bangers that make an incredible sound, too.

#007 Aston Martin has a sound annoying to some, but I find it perfect!
When you download it, or if you have, the Audi 90 Le Mans car is brutal 
the LFA sounds pretty gnarley.
Mustangs sound like the end of the world (in a good way).
