Hi, I am looking for the best S1 class car that has a balance between speed and grip (on the road), I prefer if the car would have more grip than speed, because whenever I play ranked all I see are people smashing into walls, and not playing properly, I currently use a 2013 Audi R8, and its not that bad, but I am looking for something better.
Try my tune for the 2008 Viper, called “S1 Class Monster”. I spent a heck of a lot of time developing it, partly for the Lakehurst Copse Circuit rivals event, and I think it’s genuinely very good because I’m ahead of people in that rivals event who I wouldn’t normally expect to be ahead of.
Thanks for the response, I’ll definitely check it out
The viper is definitely the best handling S1 car, but not in my rotation for ranked. Some very strong drivers use it for sure though. I find it a little underpowered.
Also worth a look, in descending order of handling:
1992 Honda nsx-r
Koenigsegg CC8S
2005 Honda nsx-r gt
2009 corvette
2005 Ford gt
Bugatti eb110
The 2015 Corvette Z06 is stupidly easy to keep grippy if you’re happy with sub-700 horsepower. I say ‘stupidly’ easy because I don’t know how good I am at tuning because of how little time it took me to dial it in.
I’m not a ranked racer, though. My tunes are for drive experience. That said, I drive cars and develop tunes with no assists.
+1, '08 Viper ACR has always been strong in Forza games. Underpowered in many configs in Horizon I agree with that. I have a fun RWD build on the Ford GT '05. Stock engine almost maxed, sport gearbox, aero, race tires. Have only tried the NSXs in A class, might make a point of putting one in S1 to see, it’s been months since I last drove them.
