Is the IMSA Audi 90 GTO the greatest car to ever grace the Forza motorsport garage? In my opinion yes! I mean wow what a truly awesome looking beast. Ok it may not be a ultimate leader board car but just having the ability to imagine hooning the monster around the Nordschleife makes it for me the greatest Forza car to date. Actually, change of plan, that Audi Quattro Le Mans car is just 400x better - and I never thought I’d say that…
The R18 E-Tron Quattro. That car is amazing. But my favorite is the Chaparral. The engineering that went into that car. Mounting the rear wing to the suspension not the bodywork( whick got banned later) is brilliant. Also the rear wing could be trimmed out or tilted to add or take away downforce from inside the car (F1 adopted this for thier DRS). So to me the Chaparral is this best car in the Forza series, not just Forza 5.

i agree for now, i have alway loved the Audi 90 GTO it is such a beast, now its in forza its my new best car. and just behind it is the Mazda 787B just for the sound of it
Man, I had been wanting the Audi 90 IMSA GTO for sooooo long, I literally jumped for joy when i saw it.
The Nurburgring Booster pack was one of the best ever! And only contained half of the cars!

05’ Lamborghini Gallardo with a RWD Balboni S class tune on it from Forza 4! Greatest driving car I have ever built, went like stink in a straight line and could do anything in the corners including hanging the tail all day long. To bad FM5 ruined the RWD conversions by adding weight or I would build it now, so sad.
S1 Lotus Elise will probably always be my favorite. Was a huge pain to tune in Forza 4 and was still a huge pain in 5, but well worth it. It will just fly around other cars once you tune the twitchiness out of it.

I’m just going to throw something out there that has struck my mind as sorely missed from the FM5 roster: the Audi R8 LMS. The sound, the drive, the looks - it may not be, statistically, the “best Forza car ever”, but I’ll be damned if it isn’t high on the list.
On a similar note: TheSagaris458 is hosting this weekly FM.net community-based poll to try and determine which vehicle the community likes best (not restricted to those in Forza). It looks like good fun.
the mini. you can tune the car so its easy for a beginner or take it to the top of the leaderboards with a skilled driver. no other car has the range the mini does, and its a fun little car to drive. its like karting, you actually get to play in it.
It used to be the F458, in FM4 it was a monster, and once I got the tune right, FM5’s iteration is still fantastic. But now I am leaning towards the Holden VF - Ma5hed tuned it for me and it is unbelievable to drive. I use it almost exclusively for S class now.
For me it would easily be the #4 Audi 90 IF T10 had put it into a proper usable class like R class. As it sits, its not a prototype and not usable to race against those or in that class and cannot be detuned unless you put on drag tires which sucks. It should have been made a R class car or been allowed to be detuned slightly with engine mods to allow it to run in a proper class. As it is, its virtually unusable except for lapping. Its such a wonderful car though.
