I think for A and B class there are many choices, for B my 2002 Turbo accelerates faster than most, at 7.5 rating, although thats for street mainly, the 250 Cali and GTO are also usually dominant in B class but expensive, for A there are loadss of choices lol, most people use Evo or Scooby/Audi TT but if you upgrade muscle cars right it’ll beat it, ive beaten them in Chevy bel air/Impala SS, plymouth cuda, etc, its about trial and error really, if you tune any car right it can be a beast on street races.

And for R1 the Joss JT1 is an awesome choice for streets with less straights, brutal acceleration with a high top speed and great cornering, although for point to point and short circuits id use your option, radical/f50 Gt.

For S theres many choices too, ive seen people easily win in a Silvia S15 and 240SX, with lower classes they key i believe is acceleration, in this class around 9.0 Acc rating should suffice, again; the best way is testing tunes out

I agree, there are a lot of options, and thanks for the comment! However when it comes to your comment about the A class muscle cars, they are usually best for long straight tracks, and even then, if you build them for speed, might as well throw handling out, except with a properly tuned '69 Camaro SS. The reason i didn’t include any muscle cars in my list, are because I don’t use any, as like i said, unless they’re perfectly tuned, they aren’t that great, and I haven’t lost any long fast track races against a muscle car. Thank you for the comment though!

Ah yes, i understand, but because they have much better acceleration i dont really have to upgrade the engine as much i do with non-muscle, so i have way more PI to spend on handling, most of my A class muscle have race tires with back/front all maxxed, while still being speedy at around 7-8 rating, i find that handling at around 8.8 rating is enough for street races; and you should try some muscle yourself! you’d be surprised how much speed they pick up compared to the awds, i had a 9.5 rating car and a dodge charger '69 easily went past me, it was then i learned that with these classes its more about acceleration and less about top speed

The Koenigsegg CCX-R is good for R1 and R2, freeway blast without aero upgrades and mountain run, river run, route 20 with aero upgrades

R1 fast circuits and point to point races, I like to use the Zonda Cinque Roadster, one of my favourites to use in R3 and R2 also

Sesto Elemento is another good car R3-R1 I use them for circuit races

Mclaren F1 GT R3-R1 good all rounder but expensive

Mclaren F1 S-R1 another good all rounder but expensive

You win a Lamborghini Diablo SV in one of the races in single player, I like to use it in A class

C class the Mini Cooper '65 is excellent for circuit racing

Nissan GTR R34 is good in multiple classes as an all rounder

Noble M600 is another good car to use in the R classes

Its has been a very long time since i have played horizon since i have moved all my attention to Forza 5. When i was playing though the fastest cars that i owned by far in B class were

B class
Lancia Delta S4 grip tuned but still had a ton of accel. Make sure you only put the rear sway bar on this car though

O5 Subaru

Audi TT

A class the Delta S4 was also unbeatable but make sure you only have the rear sway bar and not the front one. I cant remember track names but anything short to medium the lancia will do fantastic

ERS Johnson,
When you say the rear sway bar for B and A, which one, sport or race?

If i remember correctly i think i went with race on the rear and nothing on the front. Its been so long but i think thats correct… i want to say the handling was like an 8.6 with an accel of 8.8 in B class. In A class it was around a 9.7 handling and 9.8 accel. I could be 1 whole number high on the grip for both so they could be 7.6 handle in B and 8.7 in A but again i think im pretty close with my first figures.

Full aero with max grip basically and then start flipping around parts on the cars. I also thnk on the B class one the rear tire is down one size. I really wish i could remember better because they were unbeatable every track i would drive them. I gave them to a few club members so see if you can find somebody name ERS COLDCUTZ on horizon sometime and he should be able to give you a better breakdown of the car. Its a tricky car at first but once you figure it out you will not lose i promise you that.

It likes to oversteer a lot, surprised the rear tire width is reduced one size for B class. I have max width tires on back and 1 width less on the front tire

If you are having lots of oversteer put the rear tire on and take off the front. Again i cant remember this car to well except for the fact i did have number 1 times with the car if you would not include the wall riders lol. If you find coldcutz im sure he will help you out with it just let him know its ok to give out the tune since we no longer need it really. I wish i would have kept horizon and my 360 almost just for this game and this car but oh well im looking forward to horizon 2 already

Will somebody put up their stats on the car. That might rattle my brain and help me remember

alright bro long time no see lol i dont use the delta s4 in b class but i can tell you the stats for mine is A-class and S-class

my A-class delta s4 has 9.7 handling and 8.8 acc and my S-class has 9.9 handling and 9.8 acc and both with 10 brake

Thanks! I was having a lot of trouble trying to get the right tune for the S4

Im starting to think i put the race sway bar on the front of the car to let the front slide instead of putting it on the rear. Man i wish i could remember this build

Don’t worry about it, thank you anyway for trying!

If you put only max front sway bar then it increases understeer, i prefer that on all my cars because oversteer loses me alot of speed and can spin out especially with the higher end cars such as the Hennessey Venom or Pagani Huarya, but for increased oversteer would be putting rear sway bars

Thanks for letting me know, but I think it’s the other way round, front ARB increases oversteer and rear ARB increases understeer. Using the front ARB on the B500 lancia s4 is a big improvement than my previous tune, it’s still a bit slow but it’s better than before! Thanks guys

Oh is it? I read somewhere the front was supposed to increase understeer, i got it from this: http://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst1544_Some-Questions-On-Upgrades.aspx

& i have been noticing that in the tail-happy cars lol

Okay that’s weird, if I do it your way, I spin out ^^ I guess everyone does things their own way.

Ppl still play old forzas?
