Hey guys, does anyone know if there’s going to be an endurance MP hopper on Mount Panorama this weekend, since it’s when this year’s Bathurst 1000 will take place? It’s kind of a fail if T10 doesn’t do it as it is a fantastic track and a great race, and they did it for basicly all available tracks (Le Mans, Silverstone, Spa, Nurburgring and so on).
Maybe It will be announced in today’s WIR.

Can anyone that has been in the lobby comment on build/tune restrictions? Stock build or S800 limit? If stock build, tuning allowed or not?
Stock build but you can tinker. There is no achievement badge or title for this race, I just finished it and you get nowt for it.
That’s a bummer but I was saving the achievement for milage in the Xbox holden for this event so I will run it for miles for that
Bit of a joke other events had badges etc and this doesnt. Only doing it for the holden challenge now. So basically paying £2.39 to get one achievement.
There are only like 3 lobbies going for this. If anyone gets a short wait time they are lucky. 36 minutes is the best I could do after trying several times and realizing I was cycling between the same 3 lobbies.
So you can do something with the build as long as it ends up 765 still. I debated on run the set up I had, which I wasn’t sure was actually any good, or download one. I found one that looked like a good build and got it. Big mistake. This race has damage and that build had a super aggressive alignment that completely wore out tires in like 5 laps. That was way too often to pit to be competitive. If you’re going to download a set up, be aare of the damage and maybe go run a few laps with damage to see tire wear to make sure it isn’t excessive.
LOL, I was wondering how the set up got the PI low enough to have the power it had. I went to reverse engineer the set up to put a less aggressive alignment on that build only to discover it was on drag tires. That explains that.
Bad move on Turn 10’s side. Yes I agree in having the event but think they should have attached a challenge to it to attract some gamers back to the game
The lack of any recognizer for completing this event just shows the level of support that FM5 will get going forward.

Totally agree. all the bathurst 1000 did was waste my time. Idiots, inexcusable to squander what resources you do have to give.
Anyways P Cars comes out next month, I bet Turn 10 employee’s are going to be sad when their glory days are over.
Couldn’t agree more. Do they expect people to do things just for the sheer enjoyment, without so much as a badge or achievement? Outrageous!

I ran the #10 XBOX VF Holden for the achievement for miles in that. Sure I could have done that without this event but any other method wouldn’t have been any less of a waste of time really.
