Hi. A lot of people have been complaining that forza GT is a very weird mish mash of cars that doesn’t really work because it’s not possible for BOP to properly balance them all. I have a few suggestions that I personally think would help balance forzaGT better and give the spec a proper identity, while also making racing more fair
-
Remove all the V8 supercars and put them in their own spec. This includes the ford falcon, holden commodore, and altima racecar
Reason: these cars are not even remotely related to GT cars, and you can tell. They are too fast in the straights and not fast in the corners, this makes it very unfun to race them vs a GT-derived car. They need their own spec that rotates in with the weekly specs. -
Heavily nerf the Audi R8
Reason: This thing is incredibly broken, which is a shame as I quite like the R8 and would like to use it in public lobbies without feeling like a jerk -
Rebalance the 488 challenge, lower its weight to around 2800-2900lbs and its hp to around 550-570hp
Reason: The 488 Challenge isn’t a GT car, and it’s strange they have this in the game when there is an actual 488 racecar model with both a GT3 and a GTE version, it even has an EVO variant so there’s quite literally 4 different versions of an actual 488 racecar to choose from. Instead they add the 488 challenge which is a factory-spec racecar that doesn’t at all feel like the rest of the cars in forza GT. But I digress; if they really want to BOP it for forza GT they should lower its weight and horsepower so it feels more in-line with the rest of the cars -
Add the KTM GT2 to Forza GT rebalanced for ForzaGT BOP
Reason: the KTM GT2 is the first car added to forza from the brand new ‘GT2-Euro’ spec. They are comparable to gt3 and gte cars and thus can be rebalanced to the BOP of ForzaGT very easily. This would set the precedent that cars from the GT2-Euro category can be added to forza as ForzaGT cars. It’s already listed as a ForzaGT car in the autoshow, so make it available to race in multiplayer. -
Remove the KTM GT4. Put it in a new ‘ForzaCup’ spec which includes GT4 cars and ‘Cup’ cars
Reason: GT4 cars aren’t really comparable to GT3 and GTE. They are essentially just stripped and track prepped production cars. Turn10 should add more gt4 cars as well as throwing in any cup cars in here to create a new class which could be dubbed ‘ForzaCup’ -
Remove the Audi TT RS from the Forza GT category
Reason: It isn’t a GT car and it’s not even available to use in the category online. It is confusing for players that this car is listed as ForzaGT. Initially i was going to suggest that it be given a BOP for forzaGT, but even when modified it cannot compete due to being FWD. Just remove it, maybe add it to touring cars and give it a heavily nerfed bop version for that series instead -
Lambo Essenza and Dodge TA are actually really well done
Reason: Dodge TA isn’t terribly fast in a straight line but it handles well and the way it feels isnt too different from the GT cars. On the other hand, the essenza was actually pretty well balanced surprisingly, its heavy and understeery but it brakes very well and if tuned right it almost turns as well as everything else.
