Is it just me or is anyone else sick off buying a tune only then to find out its not what they said it was …or actually used…
Removed the camber …
changed gearing…
Added or removed aero…
Etc etc etc…
How do they get away with it saying this is the tune i used for this track/class then sell u an absolute donkey!!!
I know there are also alot of genuine tuners and its prob only the minority…
But why not let u have the choice to attach the tune used to your leaderboard time set…like in old Forzas
It would be helpful for new guys to the Forza series or people who dont like tuning or cant etc…

imo it would be nice but, as a locked tune and the creator would still get some cr based on use so everyone would get something out of it 
Sounds like a good idea and I think you might do well if that happened 
Only issue I’d have with it is that some of my tunes are capable of top 30 times but I certainly am not! Lol.
If I get a top 100 time I’m happy for days!
The good rep I got in Forza 4 seems to count for nothing in 5 without a storefront to showcase tunes.
But yeah, people selling tunes that don’t do what the tuner says has been a problem for ages.

Yes but the simple fix to that is it shows the tune they used if available for download …For example say the Top 5 tunes are not available but in 6th the tune is open for download ,i then click on this tune and it tells me the creator of the tune before i download and can then follow the creator aswell…
I know alot of people use other peoples tunes but if the main creator sets the tune as open ,whenever someone else uses the tune on the leaderboards it shows as yours…not theres.
Or will show as there tune as they used there own problem sorted, no more dodgey dealers lol

It would be nice to give the tuners this option, since there is no better advertising than placing some cars high in the LB. Moreover, since I don’t tune, I would be more than happy to share a good result on the LB with the tuner that allowed it, because currently the only thing I can do is come here and write a post about how great the car was in the tuner’s topic.
In my opinion however LBs should display at least the name of the tuner, to give him the well deserved merit

^^^ This. For the most part, I think TM “releases” do a good job of putting up the times that have been run in the tunes. Without this info, I tend to shy away from the said tune. For a lot of us, the fun is in seeing how high up the boards fast drivers can get our tunes…for others, it’s as Dust said, they change something so their own time won’t be beaten. But it still is most of the time anyway so now they’ve lost credibility AND their LB spot lol.
