Was actually hoping to see another “exotics” focused car pack in the midst of the latest additions, but really no surprise with the level of “new” cars coming into the game at this point. I can understand some of the disappointment with what is being added, but the fact that we are still receiving new to FH5 cars a full 3 years into the game counts for something imo, so thanks for that. Never ceases to amaze me the amount of available cars in the game, period.

I think at this point it’s clear that Playground Games focuses on making Forza Horizon 6 now.
Fun fact: Horizon Backstage was added to Forza Horizon 4 in October 2020, exactly four years ago and one year prior to the launch of Forza Horizon 5

I kind of thought the same. Maybe this is a sign that PG is winding down the car additions to focus on FH6.
No Car Pass in ages now which I expected in this livestream.
Backstage is a nice addition but a bit late. At least we can pick our own cars now as opposed to getting rewards for cars we already have.
Other than that I was expecting a bit more from the 90s update.

The Lagonda is the king of this update for me.
The Subaru is an interesting curiosity.
The Soarer needs a different personality than it’s Lexus counterpart; if it achieves that then all is good.
The GTO being an old scan is a bit of a downer.
So it’s a steady but quiet(ish) update.
I’d like a 2nd Limo and a few other 2nd cars, so the Pass is nice.

I really hope we don’t end up with the situation we had in FH4 with the fastest cars getting the votes each week because people missed out on so many hard to find lower-class cars
The Toyota AT37/AT38 trucks need to be in there sooner rather than later

That’s a good point I hope all “exclusive” cars are going to be available via Horizon Backstage eventually and we won’t need to wait for many of them until the game reaches the end-of-life status, as was in the case of Forza Horizon 4.

I still think a better option to voting would be 6 months after first inclusion, put them in the back stage store automatically

I’m really really not a fan of Wheelspin cars mixed into Backstage (Huayra BC in the first six added, Trueno in the first pair of votes mean there will probably be more) but I guess it has to be stretched a bit.

1990 Aston Martin Lagonda feels like really, really forced “90’s car” here.
Roots almost unchanged from 1976 but since the last variant was still built in the 1990, it’s now a 90’s car…
I mean I don’t mind having the Lagonda, as I like it and think it’s a one of the most interesting cars to date, but the release group is really out of place.

Yes, 3-speed automatic. The car was never meant to do any racing anyways but at least there’s still some hope it can be tuned to do something decent in its class. Have a vintage luxury racers race. Bentley Turbo R, Lincoln Continental…

Hyped for the GTO. Everything else is disappointing. Everyone wants the Camaro IROC-Z or a Lamborghini Diablo. But we get a 80’s Aston instead…

Also, if i remember correctly (check for yourself to make sure) in S33 livestream (apex allstars) the developers talked about japan at the beginning of the livestream.
