Autumn #Forzathon Shop, events, and cars through December 6

It is still there…, u’r choices are “Solo”, “Co-op” & “PvP”… each having it’s own rewards (which is a fresh change)

…that’s what i said…, but the Mod(s) always deliver my mail late

288 GTO is an homologation car built specificaaly for Group B. I’m not talking about Evoluzione either, although that was also designed to be used in Group B before it was banned.

Wasnt that forza car on here a month ago? Was hoping for something new ill just get the epic car

PSA: Be sure to check the event flyers before joining seasonal PVP events.

Most of you enter the events with stock cars with no upgrades/tuning. This is a huge mistake and it would cost your championship, and valuable time. Right now it’s B class Classic Rally and Offroad Buggies, so make sure you max out the car on B class cars. Otherwise you would end up in a slower car and quitting before finishing the event. So head over the garage, filter your car(s) by the event requirements and put on some upgrades

Trying to complete the requirements for this week I’ve run into a bit of confusion. The third section states that we should drift between ‘‘opponents’’ to get a showoff skill. Does this mean one must be racing or can we be out driving around? I’ve spent some time trying to trigger this to no avail. A little help will be greatly appreciated…Charles

drift as you pass an opponent as stated in the main thread for this week

you must do the skill in a race, it’s easiest with drivitars

It’s basically triggering a Drift and Pass skill near simultaneously, isn’t it?

Yes it’s a simultaneous Drift and Pass skill to get the Showoff skill in a race.

If trying in just free roam you’ll be doing a Lucky Escape skill which is a Drift and Near Miss skill.

No capri fe in forzathon shop? How long do we need to wait for this car? KTM car should be in car pass I think.

Thank you. I was hoping I would’nt have to race that unruly little death trap…But if I must…Charles

If you don’t ridiculously overpower it, and you swap in AWD and get a differential and put all or most of the power at the front the way a tadpole configuration really ought to be, then it’s a lot less unruly.

So you want yet another car that we paid for once in FM7 in the FH4 car pass? I’d rather have new to franchise cars or ones we haven’t seen in several games as opposed to one they JUST added to a previous game.

Weekly challenge old school cool
How’s about you never add three wheeled trash to Forzathon ever again. Kthanks

Other than finding enough of the right traffic pattern, even in solo, to get the threading the needle, the rest was pretty straight forward. I upgrade to C class. I knew I would only 1 star drift zones so I just ran the one closest to Bamburgh castle back and forth 9 times and moved on. Using some of the odd ball cars for these at least gives them a reason to be in the game.

Upgraded mine to an S1 AWD - pretty fun. As long as the corresponding Weekly Challenges aren’t too crazy, it’s no biggie having funky cars involved.

your opinion
what’s wrong with a bit of fun

it’s great for drifting , download a s2 class tune and it just drifts by itself, great for the tight mountain zones
it’s my new go to drift car

If you’re having trouble getting the Threading the Needle achievement you could try this:

There is a car park on the sand by the castle near the sand dunes. Push a couple of the parked cars closer to each other so they line up facing you with a gap between them that’s just big enough for you to fit through easily. Then take a nice run up through the middle of them at speed and you should be able to get the ‘Threading the Needle’ achievement skills in just a few minutes.

This is how I ended up having to do it. Even after they fixed the NPC traffic, there still isn’t enough of it to get two cars close enough together to thread the needle. I drove around for over an hour looking for decent traffic density. I even followed an NPC car waiting for it to pass an oncoming car. It took a solid 10 minutes.

Finally, I gave up and went to the beach.
