Airborne pass skill is getting the best of me.

Try Mudkickers 4x4 Scramble, around B class - if you have something with even a half-decent tune, you can farm airborne passes fairly easily.

I got lucky with that one and managed it in one of the Championship races (can’t remember which one but managed to pass 2 cars at once). Usually my go to races are either Mudkickers with the Mini Countryman (good enough that I can drop back and have a run at them again, especially if I set difficulty to lowest)…an alternative is a CC event that I can’t remember the name of (it starts to the East of Glenn Rannoch and finishes off to the West of the Viaduct after you have made the jump off the cliff there) as it has a few jumps. Just a matter of timing it right so you pass the car just after landing

no matter what car i try (i have all of them) the weekly forzathon challenge “The Stuff of Legend” won’t recognize that i’m in a classic sports car. this needs to be fixed pronto. this is the only event that is stopping me from completing the season.

Try going to one of the houses or the Festival and change cars there and not in free roam.

You mean completing the weekly challenge don’t you. You would need to have done the remaining 6 daily challenges to complete the season.

You sure your choosing the correct catergory, Classic Sports Car is right down the bottom of the list when you do a filter search.

I picked the Aston Martin 1960 DB4 GT Zagato and it recognised it for the challenge straight away (also done in freeroam).

Nice car for completing the weekly too.

Buying a new one whether from the auction house or autoshow has triggered the first requirement from my experience and what I’ve seen posted. Then once it qualifies in free roam switch to the one you want to use.

Drift Zone as a challenge. Haven’t seen that in a while.

I am awful at drifting.

Yup,me too. Though this particular Drift Zone is one of the easier ones to get at least 2 stars in for those like us who ‘dread-the-drift’.
The 3 star target being 95k, Seasonal Challenger at 97k. My record is 93k but I’ve tried 5 different vehicles as used by those who top my Drift leaderboard for this one and I just can’t get above 93k.

It’s only that Drift Zone & the ‘Street Scene Seasonal Event’ to complete. Both are my pet hates.

I got my airborne pass skill at the Quarry cc race using a Raptor. It was easy once I found out you don’t have to pass while in the air, just get an air skill and then a pass in quick succession.

I used my 914 for the Classic Sports Car stuff. It would have been better to figure out which classic sports car has a higher skill multiplier, but I got my 250,000 points eventually by just drifting in an open field.

I also suck at drifting but I’ve been trying to do better, and it just happened I was in a Forzathon Live with a bunch of drivers who were even worse than me. I was using the Formula Drift Viper with a random drift tune (that I love btw. Sorry I don’t have the game turned on right now or I’d share the code.), and I was getting over 100,000 pts in the FL event by the end of it. We still failed the 3rd round because apparently no one else understood the concept of drifting at all. But it was GREAT practice for me for the Seasonal Stunt drift zone. I was only at 2 stars to begin with but I just went at it hard like I was carrying a weak FL team and got over 100,000 pts there too.

So my first day in the season I unlocked both Backstage Pass cars (woo hoo!). I spent one on a Honda 94 Prelude, saving the other until I decide if I want something worth a lot of money, or just something cool I’d like to drive. I kinda want a Ferrari Pista just because ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I still like to do a bit of the Forzathon even now that there are no rewards (at least to those who already have all the cars). It’s quite a bit of fun to finally try out some more cars you’ve kept for a loooong time but never used. For example the obvious choice for the Overnight Parts Street Scene event would be the NSX as one of the strongest S1 900 options in general. I took the R390 now, never drove it before, still quite easy to win all three races but anyhow fun to drive.

Most fun to be had is typically the trials however. I especially like the Fortune Island trial this week, I probably raced it half a dozen times last month already just to check out a few more cars of that division. I simply like the selection of tracks, fun to drive, good to see how capable some cars are. The Lotus trial could also be fun, however I can’t get myself to race the Goliath with A800 cars more than once. The other tracks are also too straight-ish for such slow cars, simply boring. My Elise could go up to almost 300kph but it’s still tedious when there is no challenge.

Hello, here we go again
Starting with the usual - the trial and this time is Louts A 800 road racing, with nice selection of tracks (especially last being Goliath), I got 3 easy wins, but the team … if there weren’t 2 quitters from last places we wouldn’t make it. Barely made 2:1, with hanging on thin thread on last race, where 2 people from last place quit, did look good when I crossed the finish line with 1 and 2 and somebody back also binging few points, but it all went down, to just 50 advantage.
Lotus Elan, tune - 132 382 986
or Lotus Exige S, tune - 740 641 791

With that done, lets focus on solo part of this season, starting with street scene with S1 900 Japanese cars:
Honda NSX-R '92, tune - 174 186 500
or Nissan GT-R PO, tune - 627 642 004

Next to some dirt racing, with a bit of cross country, with A 800 cars from Australia
HDT VK Commodore Group A, tune - 130 623 025
or HSV GTS, tune - 147 544 756

Last on the list is dirt racing C 600 duel Mustang vs. Camaro
Ford Mustang GT Coupe '65, tune - 170 074 456 (its on stock tires, so … )

PR stunts and used Koenigsegg Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 for danger sign and speed trap, used Formula Drift Dodge Viper, tune from Tiptronik for drift zone.
Or Mosler MT900S, tune - 148 148 788 for danger sign and speed trap.

Weekly Super 7 reward is Formula Drift Nissan 370Z

Weekly Forzathon car is a selection among Classic Sports cars, I picked trial car - Lotus Elan, with A 800 tune - 132 382 986, went to easiest speed zone - Forest Green, did the Colossus and finally went to the beach to earn those skill points, while listening to skill song.

Finishing pic:

Hope this is of any help to someone, take care everyone and as always … have fun :), bb

PS
I also went to Mudkickers, to get aiborn pass skills.

Ugrundy’s Evora tune is sick. I DNF’d everyone but 2nd place in the Goliath and it drives like its on rails. The other 2 races were also easily won by a big margin. It’s so so sticky and has enough top end to pull away easily.

Also used the 914/6 for Forzathon and love it as an S1. Hoonigan RS200 picked itself for PGG as I needed a Hoonigan car pic anyway and won 3-1. Used the '68 Mustang for the Grudge Match, Nissan GTR Black Edition for overnight parts and the Holden Monaco GTS 350 for Down Under.

The Super 7 prize (Formula Drift #64 Nissan) with the ‘KenBrockSon S947 tune’ got me the Drift Challenge first time with 110k… smashed my own record.
Got a second #64 Nissan on the Super 7 challenge and sold it for the full 10+ million value !! Sweet.

Grudge match is really fun to do co-op if you’re bored. Drove my '68 Mustang with another players '93 model. Classic battle of their handling and my raw power. They finished ahead of me in race 1 after I accidentally hit reverse on a hairpin, but I managed to finish 1st the next 2. I dunno what it is but of all the Mustang’s that’s my favourite for chucking about in the mud and snow.
