This happens because the normal idle animation is the Forzavista animation of the doors opening, since this car doesn’t have hinged doors, it just disappears.

Did anyone else notice the black SS logos on the back of the 02 Camaro?
Whoa! You are right, the 35th Anniversary Camaro has the logos back! Maybe there is hope that the other SS cars (Chevy/Holden/HSV/HDT) will follow finally! Thanks for the heads up.

I’ve just spent a couple of hours setting times, beating times, chasing times I couldn’t beat. Most fun I’ve had with Forza for some time. Almost forgotten what it was like to pick a track you like & car, then have a ghost available to chase.
I think I need some class based tunes - other than that loving this update so far.

Only tried the AM spotlight rivals event on Suzuka so far, but I like both where the track limit has been placed, and being able to see it.
But… AAAAARRRGGGHHHH IT STILL HAS THE BUG WHERE YOU CAN’T APPLY A LEGAL TUNE FROM WITHIN A RIVALS EVENT, YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THE EVENT, THEN APPLY THE TUNE, THEN GO BACK IN
The track limits seem pretty good at most tracks, not really any different than the way I ran them before except I can’t run as wide as through some turns. The only thing I have to change slightly to the new limits seem to be the hairpin turns. I’m turning in a little sharply & going red. I use 0/100 deadzones great for my lap times but makes me turn in a little sharp. You can still cut a little but as long as keep 2 tires on you seem good.
I haved install the patch today but after that, impossible to launch the game ! It wont launch !!! Fabulous ! I wait all the day to have this patch, it comes at 22H … and now I can’t playing my game … I’m so tired and dissapointed about FM7 … it will be the third time I will reinstall this game … thanks T10.
Maybe you’re in the 1% who’s having this issue. Try hard resetting your console. I hardly ever hard reset mine and its working fine.
Oh, I noticed this right away after launching the game post-update. I was like: “hey hang on… what’s this?”… I was expecting it to disappear any second… but it hovered around significantly longer.

CRracer 912 One of the worst/best crashes I have ever seen was on pit road, I thought my drivatar got murdered! All I saw were flying Ferrari’s coming at me.
nykraft. That happened to me a few day ago while saving, tried launching the game 10 times & nothing. I unplugged the console completely waited 5 minutes & everything was good. (aside from the fact that it froze). Maybe try that before you re-install. I just pray Horizon 4 is glitch free
I dont know if my game didn’t update or something but for some reason I cant get the new drift upgrades and I’m online and everything. I even tried the car they used in the showcase for it. Any idea’s? I’m on PC btw.

I think they improved gear shift animations in some cars. I swear before this update some were either slower or inaccurate…but after testing several cars it seems better. Downshifting still is kinda screwed though.
I’m not sure what the drift community thinks of the new suspension, but for a Drift amateur like myself it helps A LOT!!! I’m usually a top 5% type racer in Rivals & a god awful drifter. The few times that I tried drifting I spent more time in the grass/sand than on the track. Just never found that setup that worked well for me. Controlling a drift has always been easy but linking them together was tricky for a new drifter like myself. Most notably for myself the exit of my drift is so much easier to control, before the new suspension my exit had a ton of snap oversteer & would try to launch me off the track. Now that I can control my exit better I can transition into the next turn with more precision. I’m a die hard Road Race gamer & an actual Late Model oval racer & for the first time I had a blast drifting. I think I have done more drifting in the last few hours than the last 3 games combined.

Is it just me or has the tyre smoke been upgraded?

Tire smoke has definitely increased along with the duration of it sticking around. I dig it, adds to the realism with drifting especially.
