Just checking out the sound of these new Lambos 'n such in chase cam and as I spin the camera around the cars they sound like they’re reversed. Meaning that the sounds you’re hearing while at the back of the car sound like they should be what you hear when facing the front. I get better exhaust sound by facing the camera at the front and sides of the car than I do the rear. It doesn’t sound muffled or blocked by anything like the rear does. Tested more than a few cars in this Italian pack then decided to check elsewhere. Pretty much every car I’ve tested has this issue.
What I’m hearing is the center channel lose volume when facing the rear of the car.
Are you running Dolby Atmos? I am so it could be, yet another, dolby atmos issue. I’ll test with the other surround modes too. I don’t normally play in 3rd person. Just wanted to test the new engine sounds out.
I guess Lambos in the new pack are very buggy sound-wise. I have the same with your issiue as well as the special launch control sound on SCV12 doesn’t trigger when I’m connected to internet. I mean it sounds just like any regular car but nothing special such as the savage burbles and stuff. PG should take a look at the lambos sounds.
No, my motherboard only provides a menu were I could set such things with the S/PDIF and digital outputs. As I’m still using the ordinary jack cable plugs I run something called Equalizer APO with an addon. I don’t have any “enhancers” turned on there.
There’s so many sound bugs in this game. It’s so disappointing and annoying. Like 'OH WE DID A TON OF WORK TO THE AUDIO IN THIS GAME!" yet the accessibility screen reader modes each change the overall mix in some negative way. There’s this bug where ( at least in dolby atmos home theater mode ) changing cars will break the dynamic range of the surround mode. Only way to make it ‘pop’ back into place is to restart the game when changing cars. LFE slider does nothing in audio settings.
Back to the accessibility screen reader feature. Did they not test how this was affecting the mix over all? I get that it’s cool to have features like this, but make sure they don’t break anything else.
