Lately been getting some strange crackling/intermittent sound while playing Forza 7. Has anyone else encountered this? It’s something within the game as far I can tell(not my tv or sound system).

Since downloading the most recent update, I also experienced weird in game Car Engine Audio. It was like the engine performance sounded degraded but became very annoying during game play. After checking my XBOX One audio settings and home audio receiver settings, I uninstalled Forza 7 and downloaded again and audio appears to be back to normal again.

Me too. since the update sound is distorted and crackling.
what I have been getting is intermittent sound volume changes, perfectly normal one minute, then you go over a kerb, and the volume is reduced significantly after, happens randomly.
I’ve also experienced the sound crackling issue but it was limited to one play session.
Another sound issue I’ve come across (happening at least once per play session), the car sound will freeze for 4-5 seconds on the same engine/rev note yet the game itself isn’t freezing. You don’t realise how much you rely on hearing your car rev until it freezes.
Have the same issues with the audio since the latest update.
