Auction house sold by the time I pressed B once on the controller

I just bought the Alpine from the shop, put it in the auction house, I had a notification in place after pressing B

how are these things done so fast?

I mean, yeah, bots, but how do they work (in general, I have no interest in replicating or encouraging it)?

is it a PC-only thing where an app makes itself look like Horizon or and spam the server a thousand times a second or something?

I can’t speak re the bots but this car is in demand this week. It’s the forzathon car and not available in the autoshow. There’s just a lot of players trying to get it to use or hold for a few days for profit.

I think the bots thing is way overblown. I’ve sniped a dozen cars in a row before and been accused of being a bot. even if there’s 10-20 people worldwide looking for a car at any given moment, this is the result.

also it’s extremely rare they give us a forzathon with a non-auto show car, increasing AH demand

simple keystroke macros. auction sniping is just pressing a series of buttons in perfectly timed sequence, ripe for automation
