Just here showing my support. T10 seem to be dead set on making this game appeal to casuals more and more for some stupid reason even though we’re the ones that stick around for years after the game has been released, but screw us right!?
Whatever the reason here is, rammers/trolls have been ruining this game for years, it’s the most discussed problem in this game and T10 have done basically nothing to fix it.
Just another garbage developer that cares more about profits than a happy player base.
Hilarious, where else are people requesting things? Hand written letters? Here and Facebook is about it there are very few other forums where forza garners much interest. And one percent of a few million is still a whole lot more than " a dozen at most"
Haha yeah" get over it, your ideas are a waste of time. "You’re quite inviting
I was just here dispelling misinformation… everyone is a funny word. It almost never means everyone. “Everyone is gonna be at Mark’s party, it’s going to be lit” is that everyone in the world, everyone in their social group, everyone that matters, who is everyone? It’s not literally everyone. FWIW I never said everyone I said most requested, 1% .001% doesnt matter it’s a request. People who want their voices heard post people that dont care dont, what % of people actually play multiplayer to begin with, what % of that % post here? We can go in circles all day.
They could bring back cpls alongside hoppers like fm4, if that’s the case being against them is irrelevant, don’t like them dont use them.
The thread is a waste of time, you’re right on that. I thought “everyone” (theres that word again) knew cpls weren’t coming back but here we are
I still think that the gamers pool is way smaller than it was in Fm4, if you implement CPL there’s not enough players to enjoy actual lobbies. And I enjoy actual public lobbies.
I would like to see the data of online players over the course of the past couple games. I feel like it’s just been declining Since forza 4 but would like to see some actual numbers.
^^ there is something we can agree on. Proper private league racing >>>>>>> any other mp system I dont remember fm5 as specifically but I’ve done maybe 100 hopper races at most since fm6 came out
Well I guess you’ve just pointed out my biggest issue is that what they offer to the public is garbage and have forced racers to take responsibility into their own hands doing private racing. I would like to be a part of this kind of racing without having to go seek it outside of the game it self. In forza 4 we had a private league and after our races were done we would open it up public and that’s how we would meet new people. I just miss that community and ability to find leagues and groups of racers within the game. And I think they are missing a great opportunity to allow that within the game again.
Jetblackpope said something that resonated with me. “Community” it seemed much more fun, and inclusive on FM4. Gifting helped too as folks were helpful , collaborative, and the racing clubs with shared garages were cool too.
Their casual-focused approach since has made the overall experience less fun, in my opinion.
At this point I just play FM until I get space / time to build a PC, get a wheel and get into rFactor 2.
Agreed, I just simply don’t agree with the direction they have been taking this game for the last three iterations. They had a good recipe and I feel it’s just been going down the drain.
I have been playing since Forza 1. Amazed by the searchable lobbies on later Forzas. What a revelation to find like-minded people who wanted clean racing, mic or boot, communication, consensus, shared goals, teams that met and practiced, teams that raced other teams in lobbies, shared tunes, car gifting etc. Nurburgring with all wheel users all night. Adult-only lobbies with no crashers. Boot if you raced dirty. 15 minute races. It was great. When the hoppers came out, it never worked for me and I went back to playing single player, hotlapping. Playing it largely like offline gran turismo. Count me among the those who would renew my gold subscription and play for hours, if only with just a few others. I remember there was a good chance of logging on and finding the same group of guys each night, having clean and competitive racing, apologizing for being too aggressive, calling out your position on sketchy passes, talking about real life between races. Making actual car guy friends. I really miss that aspect of forza.
Agreed, I made real life friends through the community that FORZA 4 was. The racing experience they offer now through hoppers is in my opinion a complete joke, the same as it was in FORZA 3 except in F3 you were actually able to utilize the vote to kick system since people would see you voting. It was tolerable since we were all hoping that they would bring back CPL. F4 came out and what a sigh of relief, CPL’s were back and better than ever. F5 came out and they were gone, I was gone as well. F6 came out, I sat out again. F7 is out and I try to tolerate it but again have more bad experiences versus good ones when I play.
