Anyone else gone back to FH3 because this one sucks?

Guys, I was so excited for this game, pre ordered Uktimate edition as I have with the last few Forza titles,

Game day came, loaded up on my PC at midnight of launch, played a few hours here and there for a few days, completed LaRacer, got bored, left it for a few days, went back, played 10 minutes, then went back into FH3, played hours on end no problem.

Just me?

The maps boring repetitive garbage(makes me glad to not live in the UK if that’s what it’s really like lol)

The online is a joke, no championships, absolutely nothing to do

Nah, I was done with FH3 ages ago. And I’ve enjoyed FH4 more than most of FH3 so far.

Force Feedback is miles better in FH4 than FH3.

So now I have hundreds of cars and hundreds of kilometres of roads to enjoy my steering wheel rig and triple monitor setup on.

I’ve uninstalled FH3.

I guess everyone saying there is nothing to do plays with controller and doesn’t enjoy just driving the cars.

Though even back in Gran Turismo days on original PlayStation with a controller, I didn’t need something to do other than to drive cars.

So few actual car enthusiasts left in these games.

Totally hear you. I also have a full cockpit setup and enjoy simply driving around. Now, steering control was perfect on FH3, I’m still trying to tweak it in FH4 but it’s still not good. I’m sure it will be fixed soon enough.

The problem is that FH4 it’s not a bad game just FH3 is better in terms of multiplayer, rivals, championships and car selection. FH4 is much shorter, and then you have nothing to do because online in the way it is now is unplayable (no class selection like in FH3) and rivals are limited with the same problem. The map is a personal preference but I prefer UK much more. Still have FH3 installed to play online and to drive my personal favorite Mitsubishi Lancer VIII)

I feel the opposite way, I don’t like FH3 all that much because the main thing I do is drive around, by myself. FH3 is nothing but boring straight roads leading to other boring straight roads. It’s so dreary and boring to actually drive anyplace in that game, and if you don’t have a high power car you’re gonna be on the limiter a lot, which is really not fun at all, just redlining everywhere like a gran turismo AI. This game actually has corners AND elevation changes
of course FH3 also had traffic lol

Yup the elevation and corners feel great on a steering wheel.

I do the same kind of thing in Assetto Corsa. I drive roads in cars for the joy of driving. In AC there are no credits, levels, unlocks, what have you.

The purity of a car and a road to enjoy it on.

I can appreciate the loss of proper rivals as I enjoy a bit of competition and I definitely spent a heap of time in rivals in previous Forzas. But give me some enjoyable force feedback, a large car roster and some decent roads and I’m going back in for months and months.

I’ve noticed the traffic has picked up the past few weeks. Post launch week it was dead, but there’s cars everywhere now.

To the OP tho, I go back to H3 to collect rewards and blast through Hot Wheels for a few minutes, other that that it’s boring driving by yourself now compared to 60+ players and being able to interact with them in H4.

If you play solo adventure, as in Play solo/offline you will see more traffic cars

Nope. I think FH3 sucks more.

FH3 was a good game, but a tad overrated. FH4 is overrated in some circles as well, but there’s so much it does right compared to FH3 that going back is pointless.

I cant see myself going back to fh3, but I do still play fh2 the ambiance and car list are way better than 3 and 4.

Yes, I prefer FH3.

Multiplayer is unplayable in fh4.

I can not choose the car class, or the type of game, there is no collision-free mode,

terribly limited rivals mode.

in its present form it is a game for a week to finish the story and uninstall

I prefer FH3 by far.
In FH3, cars turn well, whereas in FH4 , they look like tanks…

  • Australia has a lot more sun and I like that.
