Anyone care explain to me what happened here?

I was playing with a couple of friends who are new to the game. I bring them in the multi class lobby and we pick the slowest C500 group. How in hell a 911 GT3 was in group C500?

Loop hole? Down grade exploitation? Or may be you need to send Turn 10 the un-redacted pictures. Either way, that cannot be right.

‘NA glitching’, you could remove forced induction from (almost) any engine and make them NA to reduce their power; it has been patched a long time ago.
You could downgrade a Bugatti Chiron all the way down to D-class, for example.

Nope, he was as fast as the S800 group.

I remember that, but this players was in S800 cars time. Some kind of bug or some kind of hack.

Ah, interesting.

Seems like this was an issue in Open Class lobbies but that was also patched way long ago. Multiplayer - Player uses different class car than what lobby is restricted to(1608740) Maybe it can be achieved the same way here? Could also just be game glitching out and assigning a wrong group to the car, IIRC that can also happen.

I have seen it a few times, its like rare, and it only happends to c class.

They still get the s class layoff and I am not sure if they actually count as a c car for driver skill.

It was first on the podium and in the race end pannel. Nice bug: I hope it’s already in the bugs report list on the table of T10. IMHO multiclass lobbies should be redo with only two class of cars racing: D-C, B-A, S-R. That will give a lot more rival in each class for lobby and prevent a lot of dive bombing: I usually don’t play in C but yesterday I lost count of the time an S800 car smashed me in a turn.

See this topic (and vote on it):

It’s a known issue that has been going on for a while. It can happen randomly, I haven’t heard of a way to force it. I’ve seen it happen to both C and B class and other classes when the multiclass series was still rotating.
