Multiplayer - Being assigned wrong class in Multi-Class Series (1794707)

Continuing the discussion from Multiplayer - Being assigned wrong class in Multi-Class Series (1794707):

This is still (or again) an issue in Update 19.

It’s happening plenty of times.

Even A class can show up in Group 1

As the title says. In Multi-Class, sometimes, I think one in every maybe 20-30 races, part of the classes, groups and therefore starting grid get completely messed up.

The situation with the attached image is as follows:
People in Group 4 (S-Class) end up in Group 1, with their S-Class car, and their S-Class quali times. In the screenshot there are also two A-Class cars in Group 4 (The 370Z and the Silvia) and an A-Class in Group 1 (Supra at the bottom).

These aren’t just visual bugs, just the wrong values being shown, this is how it goes in-game. These cars are actually in the incorrect groups, meaning the grid order also changes. The NSX at the top in this case ended up first on the grid, because in this race he was in Group 1 for some reason, which of course made him demolish every other Group 1 quali time. But they start with the rest of S-Class, meaning the other classes have to drive around a stationary “Group 1” car on the starting grid. With this particular race, I won Group 1 but the S-Class NSX got first place in Group 1 and stood atop the podium.

This is the 3rd or 4th time this happened to me. I’ve never been in the wrong class myself. The amount of people in the wrong class(es) also changes. One time it was only one player, the other times its more than one.

Welcome to forums.

Yes I’ve noticed the same thing on Xbox series S. Remember to vote your own post. :up_left_arrow:

Looks like this issue has gotten out of hand…

Seems so. From what I’ve seen it’s usually 1, sometimes 2 classes difference. Good luck winning the race in B class cars against one S800 monster.
