ive tested this a few times, in multiple cars, in multiple views… the noise from the cars engine doesnt even change or get louder/bolder in tunnels, kinda disappointed, thats one thing ive always loved in racing games, and just watching “Top Gear”. any chance of maybe getting this fixed? i cant imagine it’d be a hard fix, but obviously would require a patch.
per usual, no one cares about what me and my friends do. darn.
More likely than not, so many threads are being started by people complaining about their rewards not coming through immediately since, I have to assume here, they lack common sense or can’t read, and so your thread got buried several pages down.
Also, of all the issues and technical glitches at launch, I doubt this would be a high priority. If you want it noticed by the devs, and not by the community members, post it in the wishlist thread.

2nd this, they definitely change. I’ve driven through the long tunnel a few times in some cars jusst to hear the sound change. Not sure what’s happening for you OP - what are you using for sound?
It does get louder. I use a regular sony sound bar and it sounds awesome. A regular tv will not cut it an example of that is the mercedes sls, sounds like poop on a tv but in a sound system with a little bass, my god! Its raw.
But the sound does get loud i even have to turn it down when entering a tunnel so the wife doest yell at me haha.
The tunnel effects are fine and glorious. It would be great, however, if some of the cars were as loud as their FM5 counterparts when upgraded with race exhaust.
I have an XBO and the sounds overall are low. At times I can barely hear my engine, I have my radio turned down to 4 and the engine is still quiet. Some cars you can’t even listen to the engine to shift. Who cares about that in a racing game, I will just be a complainer to some… smh
Yeah, the sounds certainly change for tunnels. I’m using the game with Sennheiser HD202, a decent set I’ve found perfect for TV/gaming and going through the tunnels sound as it should.
