I was racing lemans in a private lobby with 2 friends. On the second lap my game froze and took me back to the dashboard. Second time it happened tonight. Only this time when i reloaded the game I had to watch the intro video and then it prompted me to make a new character. All my saved progress was gone. I contacted xbox support and they had me delete my account from the xbox and reinstall it. When i reloaded the game it synced my save data, i still had none of my cars or money, and zero progress. They directed me here. the only accessories I have are my headset (turtle beach x800) and external hard drive. I sure would like to get my progress back. thanks in advance for your help.
Unlees things have changed very recently Gone is Gone as you cloud save has been copied over with the new game save data. Now getting some cars back and credits may be in the cards was with Forza Horizon 3 so fingers crossed I guess.

I emailed them right after I posted this and still no reply. Guess I am out of luck. Going forward I remember the great customer service when it comes to future game purchases.
Waiting time for a reply is 3 to 5 days at the moment. There’s an email queue, and they’re answered in the order they’re received. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people having issues with FM7 so the queue is a bloody big one…
