I know there are other Forza forums that have been made due to this forum shutting down, but here is another one: https://forza-forums.discourse.group/
This one is made on discourse, the same platform as this forum, so it’s reasonably similar, unlike other ones.
I’m waiting to see how well-organized & how well-moderated all these new/alternate forums will be.
Anyone can start a forum or a discord server, but most of them are a mess & very tribal/clique-ish.
I don’t think any of them will really take off honestly, just because they aren’t official

this forum shutting down？？？what？why？when？I never heard of official forum shut down, they usually last forever. that’s new
Not gonna lie, I’ve missed that big and clear infromation for a few days.
Additionally I thought “Saying goodbye to the Forums…” was created by someone who doesn’t like the FH6/need to make some changes in their life/something worse/etc.
So imagine my surprise when I finally opened that thread 
Why we are rebuilding the Forza forums. This is a fourm to continue the legendary, long running Forza Fourms where we all gathered to dissus a franchice that is like no other. Here we will be able to post any game related content and have dissusions only Forza fans know how to have. Inchoherent gibberish. But no matter the content, we all share the same thing, which is our passion to get together and talk about a game, all because of this fantastic franchise. Lets keep this going.
Official post has been up for almost a month now.
Man, I thought the exact same thing. I honestly thought someone was saying goodbye to the game through the forum. 
Besides, what’s the point of changing forums or abandoning the current one when it works perfectly fine? If something works, there’s no reason to change it just for the sake of change.
The reason? $$$ -– what else?
It’s frustrating to see someone profit from the player base and then spend that money on unnecessary nonsense, all while the game’s bug list continues to grow. 
And not just to save a few bucks – Atlassian is well known for data scraping to use or sell for training AI models etc (Google “Atlassian data scraping”) although MS may be reserving the right to scrape your posts just for their own training.
To have to set up another new account at another new service which is likely going to vacuum up my data is, to put it politely, distasteful.
