Forza Forums Closure - Farewell | June 2026

Forza Forums Farewell - June 2026

For the past two decades, the Forza Forums have provided a place for official game info, troubleshooting, shared tips between players, contests, and feedback from the Forza Community. The Forza Team has taken into consideration your feedback and comments. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and showing your passion for this franchise!

As our team shifts bug reporting and suggestions to the new Forza Feedback Portal we want to let you know of upcoming changes affecting Forza Forums users.

The Forums will continue to remain active through the launch of Forza Horizon 6 in May; on June 30, 2026, the Forums will be taken offline. We do not plan to archive or replace the Forums in their current form. However, we are committed to continue fostering community engagement by supporting and celebrating your passion for the game on other platforms.

The Forza Steam Forums and official Forza Discord channels will continue to be available for the Forza community members to chat, exchange gameplay tips and experiences, and share in-game content. The Forza Team will continue to add official game-related content on Forza.net and the Forza Support site as well as on our official social media channels listed below. We’ll be using the Forza Feedback Portal as our system to quantify suggestions and receive game bug reports. You can expect to see announcements, sweepstakes, fun community events, and more from Forza well beyond the launch of Forza Horizon 6.

For Forums users, this change means that all previous discussion posts and shared images of game Photos and Liveries posted on the Forums will no longer be accessible. We encourage you to begin archiving any posts that you’d like to preserve before the end of June cutoff.

Retiring the Forza Forums hasn’t been an easy decision for our team. With the continued growth of Forza games and our community participating on more platforms than ever before, the way we engage with our players has evolved in recent years. The Forza team watches your content and reads your comments across all of these places every day, from our official Forza channels listed below to the thriving Forza and Forza Horizon Reddit pages managed by the community. Two decades on, there have never been more opportunities to connect with our dev team and the Forza community.

Thank you to all those who have contributed to your shared passion over the years. We look forward to seeing you across our list of Forza channels in the years ahead.

Well, we had a good run. One of my most visited places on the web for sure.

If Forza Horizon 6 ends up having livery contests, I wonder where they will happen, probably Discord.

Mine too, every day since 2010. I really, truly appreciate everyone who contributed to the experience here over the years - especially the fellow Moderators I joined at the start and the community members I got to meet in person through the Forza Racing Championship.

I’ll be active in the new Forza Feedback Portal and you’ll be able to catch me beyond June in the official Forza Discord.

Drinking all night in the middle of London while rambling about Forza was fun for sure

Thank you for fostering this community. The forum complimented the games wonderfully, keeping me and many others engaged and entertained in the Forza franchise.

Well shoot, that’s quite unexpected.

Granted, I was more of a lurker and wasn’t really active in posting, mainly making bug reports for FM23, voting on threads and posting a ton when Forza Insiders was a thing, but still, there’re many good resources and conversations here that should be archived and preserved and I hope someone will do so!

Regardless… RIP Forza Forums, you’ve served us well throughout the years. o7

Sounds like fun.

The decision to not archive at least pre-FH5 channels is strange to me. Even if all the knowledge contained in these old channels is well known by people you can meet on other social media, those channels should be preserved purely for historical purpouses. Yes, an internet forum can and will eventually be considered a piece of history, especially in the era of centralizing everything on the internet.

Real shame it’s closing down. Discord is no replacement. Utterly useless for anything requiring proper discussion or threaded replies.

That’s not the news I ever expected to hear, since I started on the Forza franchise after buying an Xbox wayyyyy back in the day, this place became a regular haunt for information, liveries, and general chatter and feedback. I’m a lot less active these days, but it still brought a smile to my face to see a lot of old faces and familiar names still posting. I guess this is going to be farewell to you all, I’m not keen on using Discord for finding information, everything just seems to get lost among the sea of chatter on there. Subreddits are their own strange breed that’s probably best left unsaid lol. Forums have always been a great way to organise and find that useful information, and it baffles me why so many are shuttering and moving to Discord.

The unwillingness to backup or archive the forums is a very strange choice, it might pay to manually do so on something like waybackmachine. I’m not sure exactly what costs are associated with keeping forums up and running, but I can’t imagine it’s all that much in the grand scheme of things. This just seems like an odd decision all round.

Max, you’ve been a name around here for many years, and one that I could always trust in to provide a wealth of information, for all your years of work I’ve got to thank you! You’ve truly been a credit to the community as a whole.

Does this mean an end to the photo and livery competitions then or will they still be run elsewhere ?

Tomorrow will start the final weekly contests for FM and FH5. Discord will be the place to go for FH6 contests:

Well, this was unexpected.

Thanks to everyone for making this such a fun community to be a part of, and enjoy FH6.

Why would you guys decide not to archive the forums? As you’ve said yourself they contain two decades of information about the older titles that just cannot be found anywhere else on the internet.
The new site looks extremely bland, poorly organized, and unintuitive. It doesn’t offer dark mode and you can’t see its content unless you create an account.
I don’t see a single reason why moving there would benefit anyone at all. Needless to say, I’m sad.

Edit: Back to no polls, no read indicators, no bookmarks, not even reporting? Bruh. No place to share, no place to discuss. Yay!

RIP

I’ve been here since the forza 2 Tsukuba time attack days, sad to see it gone.

I’m still holding onto hope that we see a revived forza motorsport after horizon launches but who knows

here is an archive of the forum: Official Forza Community Forums - Official Forza Community Forums
