So, what are U T10 going to do about :
-VIP issue
-crates and in game economics?
VIP gives me nothing, its worthless from my point of view. Ive run out of coin dublers, dont care about outfits.
Crates- i came here to race, not to collect pokemons. Havent got time to gamble with crates to get cars.
On this stage am seriously thinking about cancelling my pre-order for project scorpio x1x. I have pre-ordered it just for forza and i cant justify it anymore. £450 for x1x, £80 for game and then i am being expected to collect cards of crates. As i said : didnt come here to collect pokemons.
Really stupid move, as theres not many games to look forward to on x1. I also have ps4pro and switch to play on. MS just wont get my money.

Unfortunately, this is typically the case. Outside of very specific responses in the tech support forums you won’t see back-and-forth discussions between Turn 10 staff and players.
I think it’s best to describe this place as “a forum where fans of Forza can communicate with one another” and not “a forum where Turn 10 communicates with its players”.
If Turn 10/Microsoft have something to announce they’ll typically do it via news articles, that way whatever message they want to distribute is sent out to all players not not just the few hundred that visit the forum.
True but in the past they have issued statements regarding similar issues, even simple acknowledgements via twitter. However the fact they’ve been silent all day tells me they have no intention of addressing the concerns.
T10 have never been good at communication. It’s as if the customer doesn’t exist.
Still amazed this game was released in the state it is in. Some really basic stuff like the mouse pointer always being shown during the game shows just how rushed out of the door it is.
I’ve never really seen a dev that has as little interaction with their own forum than T10. What can you do. Keep on racing and hope they at least read here even if they don’t want to talk. VIP is useless now, solution, don’t buy ultimate edition next time now we know. Crates are dodgy and all economics decisions in this game have clearly been made to prop them up and boost sales of tokens. Solution, get behind the movement to make all loot crates in games classified as gambling and force stricter regulation and 18 ratings on games that use them.
Than why don’t you ignore the crates and drive with the 500+ cars you have access too?
I guess for 100% completionists this is an issue or if that one “special” car you absolutely wanted is only in such a box. I also assume the box only cars will be sold in the AH if it goes live.
That’s BS. If someone bought the game because the Bugatti Veyron is their favorite car and was advertised as being in the game, do you expect them to just ignore the fact it can’t be bought aside from a random crate or levelup? Everybody that buys the game deserves easy access to every car in the game and not some RNG paywall.
Well its like this you see I will quote a coment made by developers The Game will Ship with over 700 cars that players can use. Well guess what we can not use 700 cars a a bunch of them are locked im at Tier 10 and there are a bunch of cars I can not use as they are locked. For one reason or another And the Pricing of the cars is pure bat droppings as is the credit award for tier 10 the only thing that changes when you go up a tier is the amount of Discount you get on level up for the car offered to you. Also if any one knows what the point of driver level is fill us in.
Because I havve paid £80 for a product with add ons and I would expect product to be in full working order. T10 advertised 700+ cars and i want to be able to drive 700+ cars. I doesnt mean I will, but i paid for it and i expect it to be accessible.
Its like selling a pint of lager containing half a pint of lager and ingridances to brew the other half in the meantime lol
Frankly i always pre-orded the game in advance without hesitation and have taken the bad stuff in stride and just rolled with the punches but this has been the last time. I’m cutting my losses and next time I’ll probably won’t buy the game anymore. Sadly they’ve pulled my leg this time since I ordered the Ultimate edition so I already payed for everything but it will be the last time that’s for sure. Hopefully they will start getting the message at some point…
Or developers have no social training at all and cannot communicate effectively with a community without sounding like a moron. That’s why community managers exist but it’s clear T10 has no idea how to manage customers.
I like the in game economics. A lot of us who play games like Forza enjoy the way the new economics system , but Turn 10 should make gameplay options for people who want everything handed to them on a golden platter where gameplay means nothing. I don’t understand how some people like everything unlocked and where its too easy. I played all forza games so far and Forza 5 , 6 and Horizon 4 became boring extremely fast with the way the game threw pre tuned cars and far too jmuc prize money at me at the end of every race. It gave me no sense of progression. Although I do think from what I’ve seen the car prices are far too high so they should reduce the car prices to reflect real world prices and reduce the prize payout at the end of races , but increase that bonus payout which would help the people who don’t want to grind.
I also like the suits thing , but I would like to change gloves , shoes and helmet seperately.
