The All Stars car pack is something I’ve been wanting for a long time in Forza Horizon and I’m wondering how awesome it would be to maybe turn these race monsters into rally cars! It probably won’t happen but imagine how stupid fun it would be to transform an F1 car into a rally car. I really can wait for this game.

Suspension would be the main issue in making a Formula1 car into a rally car.
The rally car conversion is something to think about. While I think that’s a pretty unlikely scenario, I do wonder just what they’re planning on having us do with race cars in a Horizon game. Never been done before.
Horizon 1 had quite a few race cars: Zonda R, 599XX/XXE, Sesto Elemento, MC12VC, F50GT, F40C etc.
Unless you mean cars like the C7.R or the V8 ones lol
Yeah, those cars in Horizon 1 were more like track-day supercars, whereas the cars in this All-Stars pack are actual racecars straight out of V8C, ALMS etc, which is very new to the series.
Let’s hope it all stays a bit realistic. I don’t mind buggys and jeeps on dirt tracks. I don’t mind Group 5 or Group A rally cars either. Heck I don’t even mind normal street cars or even exotic sport cars on dirt. But a rally kit for an F1 car? Come on…
AFAIK there are no F1 cars in FH3 and certainly no rally kits for them. Luckily!

I think this is a really interesting (in a good way) car pack. It’s the same with the FXX-K where I was not anticipating cars like that in the game but was pleasantly surprised that they are included

I was skimming through Super GT’s Horizon 3 video (Forza Horizon 3: Map, Auction House, Storefront & Performance Index - YouTube) and saw that Surfers Paradise is part of the map. Skip to 4:15.
I wonder if we’ll actually have the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit that hosts the V8 Supercars and previously the CART Series? It would be a great place for the full blown GT race cars to compete.
That is something I would be looking forward to. Like the racetrack(s) in TDU. It’s fine to just do racetracks with the streets, but still having a full blown racetrack on the map would be extremely great.

sounds cool but the suspension would not fit unless Turn10 fabricates and chimy-chonga something together 3D made.
At first, I was a bit skeptical about this pack, but eventually came to thinking they could be fun to drive on the Australian streets. as if they were homologations!
it also suggests there ill be some good tarmac racing despite the bigger off road focus

I think it will be great having these cars. Imagine all the fun you could have blasting through the city (or desert) in a racecar!!!

I hope they include the Aussie V8 supercars, new and old that would be a blast running them on street circuits, but love the gt racecourse in the all stars pack so far, can’t wait for september!
It’s going to be like that Top Gear episode “the best of British”, when they drove the f1 cars on the streets.
Just too bad this pack doesn’t have any open-wheeled racecars.
I’m actually looking forward to this pack. I was worried at first that this could be super unrealistic and a bit daft but then I thought it’s horizon and it’s still a racing game. I’m hoping surfers paradise has the v8 race track so you can race cars there but with horizon blueprint in sure you can make some pretty cool tracks anyway. As for off-road parts I think that would be so cool if that was a thing but I’m not putting my hopes up for it. It’s sounding pretty cool though.
Turning most of the cars into Rally cars is actually really fun, I mean look at the RGT cars in the WRC with Cup GT3s and street GT3s turned into Rally cars. The important thing for me are the tyres. It is ridiculous in FH2, that semi slicks are performaning better than the later introduced offroad tyres off the road. I mean come on, I know that FH2 is supposed to be arcade, but even The Crew did the offroading better with their weird physics. If they can do it, so should PG too.
