Hey all I don’t know if this has been covered or has happened to anyone else but, I turned on my Xbox to play forza and my entire progress was gone no VIP no car pack. I did change the batteries in the controller as they went flat. Spoke to Microsoft and they are looking into it. Just annoyed that all my cars credits everything gone.

Have you unplugged the console and then logged back in?
What a shame! I don’t think that this is a widespread problem though. If we were able I would send cars your way to help u out. Hope it gets cleared up and keep us informed!
This is a huge problem, and it tells us that gamers are not beeing taken seriously. If you buy a Product of any kind that has faults(car, books, clothes, food) you can get Money back or change to another Product etc. With games you get nothing if Product is flawed. You dont even get a response from the Company that made the bad Product. I hope one day one of these Companies get a big smack and have to replace all games sold etc and goes broke, so that games can get same “standard” as other Products.
I bought all Forzagames, and spent gazillion hours in them, but do anyone respond to mail or inhere? NO In my town when I go to same shop regurlarly I get something called service and Im treated like a customer. In the gamingworld Companies dont care much about customers the same way, and you can tell by looking at all the posts here about losing progress etc. NONE of them are answered by officials. What does that tell you???

this just happened to me too last night.
my entire garage is empty. all my car affinity is gone, all my affinity related badges are gone. the game loaded with all my tunes, all my paints, all my credits, but the only car i have is a stock toyota trueno.
there is still a record of all my driving though because it says i’ve gone 5,800 miles in the game. but i guess it thinks i walked because it doesn’t say i did it in any car what so ever.

and MILLIONS of dollars invested into the dozens of other cars i had. many with expensive hemis and lots of upgrades…
lost.
i have $8 million and an ugly little import.

This happened to me as well but lost alot more. Luckily had 13 mil saved up but still not happy, all drivatar progress lost.
There have been a few people lose their profiles now. I’ve seen about 8-10 of these posts in various places. It wouldn’t be so bad if we could still gift things to help people restart their careers, but we can’t anymore. All you can do is decide if you want to start again, or find another game. It’s a shame, and a big thumbs down for the lack of gifting, but if you’re really into your racing it hopefully won’t take long to get some decent cars going.

Similar thing has happened to me twice!! All credits lost, drivatar progress reset, driver level reset to 1 and all championships reset to beginning. Had to do the test lap in P1 and compact series again unable to skip. Irritating as I’d got to level 64 the first time and 20ish the second. Is there a way of recouping progress and lost credits??

Yep its a poor state of affairs for sure. I’m gutted for all of you that have lost your stats. I’m just under level 1400 and if I lost everything there’s no way I’d start again! It would be soul destroying.
I completely agree with CoastKey, these companies need to be held accountable for their shoddy customer service.
I’m just about getting ready to go to Trading Standards about Rockstar Games but that’s another story.

I think it’s an issue between the memory on your xbox one and the cloud. I had lost everything after a reset, but received a message about the cloud having a different save to my xbox when it synced [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]. Luckily I read the message properly and I downloaded all of my progress from the cloud. If I had chosen to keep what was on my xbox I’d have been screwed as the cloud would have kept the wiped memory file from my xbox from that moment on. I hope this helps.

Strange that so little is being said from the company reps that troll this page who push the company line…Xbox/Turn 10 or Sumo can do no wrong, you must have done something wrong. After all, I’m sure you guys have noticed a pattern around here right? Yeah, I’m still bitter. I hate getting rip off and taken advantage of.
I mean, it’s amazing. I played FH1 for how long and not one problem. Now with FH2 on 360/One and it seems even F5 there are problems left and right. I’m so glad my Gold runs out in a few days and I’m so buying a PS4!!!
Does anyone have any advice as to how to contact anyone about this issue? Devoted Forza player since Forza 2. Wanted to pick it up after a few months away, and got the message about cloud save being different than the console. Tried to download cloud save but there was an error. Went with the second option just to get the game to boot up. Now I have a blank profile with no progress. Not going to mess with this game if I can’t recover my profile. Too much time was invested.
