please forza… open up to the world of today and give us some artistical freedom for liverys… i love weed and would love to show my passion. you can put me in a grown up playerspool if you want for me to not be a bad influence for youngsters. but please don’t pretend like we are all kids that need protection. give peaple the choice on what kind of stickers to personalize a car with. and as alcohol is a (hard)drug and sigarettes are addictive aswell i dont get is why you draw the line to a natural softdrug as cannabis/weed.
i don’t want to be offensive or whatever.
i just want to make a suggestion.
please don’t ban me for asking.
Many player liveries feature cigarette brands (players, Marlboro, rothmans, etc) and these are non banable liveries however of you put a potleaf in your design you might receive a ban notice. Both cigarettes and pot promotions should exceed an E rating and yet there are myriads of cigarette liveries
This here is one of the difficult things/gray areas in the franchise. So I will try my best to explain them to you.

The reason I mainly commented on this post was this quote shown below:
“but please don’t pretend like we are all kids that need protection. give peaple the choice on what kind of stickers to personalize a car with”
If they gave people the choice it wouldn’t be e for everyone. As far as I know enforcement standings wise as long as it is not promoting to the youth itself and isn’t showing the actual substance itself. I.E. showing a Cigarette, or a Marijuana leaf or the substance in general/or hints/showing of it being used it tends to be alright (A younger player could see what these substances would look like and try to get them on their own which is a big issue). That being said alot of manufacturers historically used these manufacturer logos on race cars and such. Which is why user generated content with some of these brandings can get away.
Can’t be anything at all that directs the user into using the substance. For Example, an old campaign ad for the Cigarette company Lucky: “Reach for a Lucky instead of a Sweet.” Which could influence a younger player (since players of all ages play the title) to stay away from candies and instead go the cigarette route. As in many many places it is illegal for the younger side of the franchise to smoke, drink, etc. Or another with a red eyed character smoking a you know what. As again it would be hinting towards “hinting/showing the substance” being used which was mentioned earlier
Forza outlined this in the User Generated Content section (UGC) located on Forza’s TOS
Use of illegal drugs or controlled substances.
Since Marijuana is illegal in several places, doesn’t really have a historical significance in the racing scene (Manufacturer Logo Wise), as well as mentioned before showing the actual substance itself. Depicting any after usage of a product is also prohibited. TOS would apply to this as it is an illegal substance. Alot of these things for Forza has to comply with Microsofts TOS as well as comply with its ESRB rating.
Hopefully I explained this some. Worst comes to worse or if you ever have a doubt you can always ask in a ticket for a response in regards to this. They are very friendly people and they wont bite.
That honestly makes a lot of sense. Thr truth is we could easily argue semantics all day long but the points youve made probably provide the best argument for the topic
