AI Performance Inconsistent

Not sure what happened with the AI in this one, but holy cow is the AI all over the place in FH4. Case in point, in a street race, lead AI car is a S2 '17 Ford Focus, I’m driving an X Koenigsegg Agera, and the Focus kept flying past me out of corners, on the straights, all over. In a different road race, S2 Lambo Huracan lead AI against my X Agera, can’t even keep up to the first early corner. Sometimes the AI seems utterly incompetent, at other times it performs beyond the limits of the cars used. Before anyone asks, I am seeing this at most difficulties (New Racer to Pro). Anyone else running into this?

Street races and cross country always seem to have a different scale than the rest, happened in 3 too. But here, ya I agree! I got stomped in a street race after hitting a wall. Then I was doing the seasonal championship and using the higher difficulty to get the super spin and I noticed the cars were all over the place. First race once I got ahead I stayed ahead, second was a war and after a long jump when I was fighting for first, the dude in first after that jump had nitro it seemed and just jetted away when we were both going in a line and I was keeping up and fighting until that time. The races seemed to increase difficulty as the races went on. Don’t get me wrong, that was exciting and nail biting on the last race to keep first and win the championship (I did woo lol) but compared to dirt and regular races the spikes are very different to me. More so than 3

Yeah, it’s way off.

For fun, try doing the exact same race twice. The times are way off. Especially if you do it once very slow, and once very fast. There’s a rubber band effect.

I can win the race by a hair on pro, and redo it on new driver (expecting to win by a giant amount) and yet I still win by a hair while posting similar times.

I wish the difficulty affected their time. So on new beginner a lap time on track X will be between 1:02 and 1:04. And every difficulty you go up, they shave like a second or two off their laptime.
