Anyone else get irritated by the fact that half of the AI grid is '17 Focus RS and the other half is Transit Vans and Audi TT’s . . . even for X class? I think AI by default should pick random cars from whatever division your car is in. I should not have to specify a division in order prevent the AI from using the same four vehicles for every event no matter what class.

You can make a custom blueprint for the cars and force them to be anything you want, even cars that are unreleased like the M3 GTR.
Not if you want to use custom routes though, which is supposed to be a huge part of the game’s replayability.

Do you have friends? Because if nobody on your friendlist dont play FH4 and you are not part of club AI car selection works mutch better. But when you have friends that play FH4 AI car selection comes very broken and even more broken when make anything goes blueprint when AI use tt’s, focus etc when byself use X999 mosler.
I send ticket abaout this few weeks ago (again i send ticket first time allready in october) and got answer that team is looking abaout this.

Somehow i must have got a special bug free edition..actually must have got 3..since i have it on PC xbone X and xbone S..

It’s every single track when using anything goes blueprints. Also Many disicpline have broken car for example extreme track toys in S2 is more like FE Pagani zonda cup feat few Tvr Cerbera speed, basicly every car that peoples get soon after starting the game are broken ones.

I tried several different tracks last night and not once did it happen

All the ai cars are using my friends list and all of them play fh4..
So its just anything goes

Ive Been hoping for a fix for this for month’s now but I’m just doubting it at this point.
I’m tired of setting races to anything goes and being destroyed by S2 class Transits, TT’s, and Focuses. Not to mention I’m sick of the dang Titan FE in extreme off-road races.

I do get irritated a little becuase a Ford Focus RS and an Audi TT shouldn’t be able to reach the speed that a Hyper car can go. But I think it’s due to the AI use them as a “universal” car tool to make it harder for you because they seem to use it mostly on road races and when you use a X-class based car that can reach over 200MPH. But on the other side, I find it really funny because it’s hilarious to see a car not meant for that speed to try to grip the road at 270MPH. Apparently at a certain speed, they start to sway back and forth due to the grip physics quit working for their “special” car. I sometimes try to find tiny cars that can go into X-class and then force the AI to use them to see them drive all over the place. XD

Regardless, this is an annoying issue that I’ve talked about in the past and is the main reason I don’t do custom routes anymore that have “anything goes” as the car restrictions. Nothing is worse than doing a rally event in an actual rally car against a ton of Dodge Charger’s.

I don’t think anyone said to stop discussing it. And no one seems to have a cat avatar. Talby has cats in his sig, but I don’t think that’s a particularly prevalent shared trait.

Lol I just deleted all my friends including all the Turn10 staff from my friends list and I don’t keep anybody who plays FH4. Literally all my friends play other games except for 2 and those drivatars are always glitched. Fact is I can live with 2 Focus RS or Audi TTS’ but that’s all.
I experimented with forcing ai into cars in custom races when I had a bunch of friends. It’s absolutely directly linked to your friends who have played FH4. I literally removed one of my friends last week because he started playing FH4 and his drivatar started using only Focus RS. All the others who don’t play the game their drivatars pick a random car correctly

Never happened to me either. I have a friend who broadcasts on mixer who uses the same pink/purple car and her AI often uses a pink/purple skin but its never the same car.

Yeah, this and the fact that ten of the eleven Ford Transit vans you’re racing are all in the same, white, default livery despite having the setting to show user-created liveries selected…this blows away whatever momentary sense of immersion you might have going.
