Please add invisible spoilers that gives the car the downforce of the racing front and rear spoilers, that we can adjust to our liking but it’s INVISIBLE. So we don’t have to see the ugly Forza spoilers.
And yes the Forza spoilers/wings are the most ugly ones anybody could come up with and you basicly force us to use them so we can make our cars corner better and be more stable on long straights etc.
I think there’s some potential with this idea.
Now i don’t like the idea of running an optical illusion to make your car faster but what if we open up downforce adjustments to factory mounted rear wings and spoilers ? This is what i was thinking :
•First of all, we’re keeping the typical Forza aero wing we have now as a tier 2 option. More PI cost but you get the most downforce.
•For cars that come with a rear wing or spoiler in factory spec, provide an option to have downforce be adjustable BUT at (for example) half the downforce it generates from the normal Forza aero wing. As a compromise, it would also not be as PI costly as said Forza aero wing. Essentially creating a tier 1 option.
•For cars that have no rear wing mounted at stock, give them the ducktail (the ones you see on the old muscle cars as Forza aero for example) as an alternative Forza aero option. This would generate the same downforce and costs the same PI as the normal Forza aero wing. Therefore you get to choose what you fits your build the best without feeling restricted.
•Hatchbacks would lose their weird version of Forza aero and be given the same one as all other cars have (like you see on the late 2000s Focus RS or Honda CRX).
On a personal note, taste is subjective but i think there are cars in the game where Forza aero actually looks really nice.
No the whole point is, to have an invisible forza race wing, that basicly is stock “optical” wise. So if you have a BWM, put the invisible forza racing spoiler on it the BMW still has it’s stock spoiler lip, but the same PI and behaviour like the regular forza race wing. If there is no spoiler it doesn’t add anything to the car, if there is a low spoiler it stays a low spoiler etc.
Absolutely not, no way! The whole point of this is, that the invisible spoiler “stock” option always is EXACTLY like the regular forza racing spoiler. I mean everything else is nonsense, I don’t want a compromise that would be totally useless.
Ideal would be a an option in the gameplay options, “Turn Forza Race Spoiler into Cars Stock Spoiler Option: On/Off” Toggle. This way they would barely have to change anything codewise. At least that is what I think. It would be nice to be able to make the front racing bumper also invisible.
It is a bit like turning off helmets and backpacks in RPG games, well making them invisible.
I’m sure they could make them invisible because in Horizon, if your spoiler/wing gets knocked off, you don’t lose downforce.
