It’s been pretty evident that the level of issues & mediocre content updates have raised frustration levels to an all time high lately, with the latest fiasco being the icing on the cake for many, myself included.
I recently commented that knowledge & understanding, without action & resolution, is meaningless. To that point, the most recent actions on the part of the FH5 team, while considered too little, too late by many, are still a positive sign IMO that the dedicated players are not just being summarily “kicked to the curb” by indifference & that efforts are being made to address some of the issues.
Additionally, there have been some recent discrepancies in the deployment of rewards related to livery design contest winners which I just learned are now being addressed, with retroactive rewards to balance the inconsistencies.
In my estimation, these are very positive signs that are worthy of acknowledgement & (at least for me) are appreciated, restoring a bit of my faith. Here’s hoping the trend continues.
I dunno. I’d like to believe so but after much hurrah and huzzah about the big fix and lesson over the Super 7 / AH exploit, and kudos by fans for admitting thier mistake and nailing those who did the exploit “to excess”, there are reports that the “effort” (as lackluster and impotent as it is likely to be to those actually benefitting) is hitting innocent players and clawing back more than was exploited because they apparently did the lazy thing and just reset everybody to Nov 10 or something. Probably thinking nobody pays much attention to how many credits they have and won’t notice, and even if they do they’ll have to report it for anything to be done and who bothers with that. Of course some will. And promptly have their issue Solved ™ ! Some may even have it corrected. All the while spending more customer “service” hours fixing the “fix” . It all sounds like so much business as usual.
Yeah, that’s unfortunate & definitely hate to hear of any “innocent bystanders” being impacted by that. Hopefully if that’s the case they will resolve it. I hadn’t heard much about that occurring, but have to admit I did jump on last night just to check my credits bc I did wonder about that
I’ll check my stuff and see if I can see anything different. I’m not sure I could tell the difference between today’s credits and Nov 10th anyway.
But I did spend some time earlier looking through the Auction House (didn’t try putting any cars up for sale) and I couldn’t tell where anything had changed. So what exactly did they do while it was down for so long? Have Thanksgiving?
Still waiting for that to kick in (it’s obviously going to take some time) and I agree it’s a positive step in the right direction. It’s just a huge shame that it was even necessary in the first place.
Yeah, something is definitely wrong in Denmark. I put one up and it was gone in a heart beat. But I could only get $344,000 max for it. So someone is going to run the 20 mil exploit (there I go again) and make big bucks off the car.
Hey @T10ManteoMax tell the crew at PGG they did a bang up job fixing the Auction House!
THIS^^ absolutely & you know personally how much time I spent communicating with those involved when it was occurring to no avail.
From my understanding of the timing, should see this kick in at some point tomorrow (EDIT) through the end of May (apologies, I previously incorrectly cited March) so they are definitely making good on it which is a big step & much appreciated.
I provided photo evidence for mine above
I listed it I think for a starting bid of 25,000 C with the buyout at 20M credits bc I had my design on it & as you can see, it was gone quickly…
I spent some time this morning watching the Audi and BMW auctions. It’s absolutely crazy how fast those cars come and go. And it doesn’t matter if they are low ball prices or the 20 mil cars. Just post and sell. It’s a bunch of jack smack and sure looks like the Auction House is being used as an exploit. Doesn’t seem like PGG changed anything about the Auction House.
