A one stop place to sort or look at all your saved tunes and not having to change from car to car to look at the tunes.
Once you reach the ‘invisible’ limit of saved tunes it turns into a chore to switch cars one by one looking for tunes you can delete to free up ‘tunes’ space.
to make the process more manageable, make it possible to delete old tunes in the tune section of “my creative hub”
It’s a pain to delete tunes from your creative hub. You have to download your own tune and then unshare it. Unsharing it without downloading it first does absolutely nothing. Then it also counts this download towards your total. Stupid.
Suggestion:
A list that contains tunes for ALL cars, in one place.
I ran into “too many saves of this type” error recently, which forced me to explore my car library and delete saved tunes. So my suggestion is rather simple:
Give me a list of all “files” or “saves” of a certain type (or maybe a list of all types), which states some information about a save and has one button:
delete
So that I don’t have to micro-manage limited stuff.
Or offer me to delete the oldest save file of this type instead. Should be pretty easy to implement, but not all people will agree with this approach.
Your first suggestion is a suggestion I like.
Personally even a meagre warning pop-up alerting me that I’ve 5 slots left for liveries/tunes would do me. They seem to have warning boxes for several unnecessary things but not something useful like that.
Running blind into game limits is the most frustrating thing about this game for me.
Just like we have a menu to see all the paintjobs we have for all our cars, can we have a menu for all the tunes we have as well?
It’s pretty annoying that we have to select a car to then go and see all the tunings we saved for that specific car, so a dedicated menu for all the saved tunes will make tunings deletion more seamless.
I already stop playing FH5 because of this.
I dont have time to micro-manage limited saves not in this way, people want enjoy the game not getting frustrated!!!
Fix this, do something useful for your game
Im so close to stop playing because of that, for second time i reach the limit and i dont have so much time to play to waste deleting tunes, and duplicated cars, its so frustrated
This is an old suggestion, still I believe this should be a new feature. I also ran out of space for my saved tunes, and have no easy and friendly way to find them.
Any way of properly knowing where are my saves would work, I can think of two right now:
- As suggested before, a list of all tune saves, as we have for liveries and vinyls. This way we can see all cars and tunes and delete them the same way we delete liveries and vinyls.
- In the “find tuning setups” menu, along the “suggested tunes” and “my favorites” sections have a third one for “saved tunes”.
Like ‘My Designs’ it should display all saved tunes.
Both menus should be sortable, and every thumbnail should tell you which car you’re looking at, especially as we have at least ten completely identical cars.
Could you elaborate on why you feel this all should be?
What would it improve?
I should think the benefit of the thumbnail telling you which car is depicted is obvious, so I’ll skip explaining that.
The reason I think being able to see all your tunes, in your garage, in a sortable list is beneficial, is that you’d have that information where it’s most likely to be useful, and where you can immediately employ it, and in a way that wouldn’t require you to either go car by car looking, or exit your home, go to creative hub, scroll around, make notes, then go back into your garage to use your notes.
I shouldn’t have to keep a database outside of the game to use information (that I created within the game) without jumping through hoops.
This should be featured in FM series also. Quick and easy tune data makes sense, bc it’s already in place for paint jobs with a quick scroll in “my designs”
A menu for accessing all of the tunes you currently have stored. I think having a limit on the tunes you can download is tolerable, but not having a way to easily clear your storage isn’t.
I follow some good tuners that have over 300+ shared tunes. Problem is, you can’t see their recent tunes because of some kind of visibility cap. Only like, 180 of your most downloaded tunes show up in your creative hub. Anyways yeah, that’s all.
This my first topic. Hopefully I didn’t break any rules, and pls correct me if I’m wrong : ).
Hope this makes it into the game at one point. MASSIVE quality of life improvement for the game.
Still relevant, though I have to question if they’re ever gonna take this seriously after so long. Sad to see.
The saved tunes menu is an absolute nightmare to navigate and it needs a complete overhaul.
