So after the debacle that was the Forza 5 digital release we were all assured that these problems would not arise in future releases but hey here we are with Forza 6 and already we have had one of the biggest content updates in Forza history to sort out problems any sort of half decent programmer would have know to sort out before release. But no that would have taken more time to do and held up the release date so instead we’ll let everyone who spent their hard earned cash on what they thought was a fully working product be our beta testers instead and if Forza 5 is anything to go by we’ll all be getting content updates for many weeks to come.
But lets come back to this content update and what are I believe its unwanted side effects namely the actual physics of ALL the cars has changed but maybe that’s just me because since the update my tunes are just not running the way they were and so I’m going to have to update all my tunes my worry being that any of my tunes downloaded by other racers will be suffering the same problems therefore affecting any cred I had on the tuning scene. The spec rival challenge cars are also showing subtle differences to their handling making good times harder to achieve and by the way I thought all leader board times set by the glitched cars were going to be removed by the update I have news for you turn 10 like your game it didn’t work.
Oh and while I’m having this rant when a content update is available could it be left to us the purchaser to decide when the update is loaded onto our console and not just forced upon us at your choosing if that had been the case I wouldn’t have been driven mad by the fact that on lap 56 of 82 of an endurance race (which I was leading by miles) up pops the content update and shuts down the game. Forza 6 is making it so hard to love it like the other Forza\Horizon releases and the main reason is the fact it was a digital download that was far from ready for release to an unsuspecting public now release dates are important to us the game buying public but a finished and fully working product is much, much more important to us so please take note of that for all future releases because you can tarnish a good product only so much before it becomes a bad one.
