Yep, same with wweahrer transitions. One minute it’s something … Immediately, a second later it’s like somebody draped a giant sheet over the sky or something

This game has weather? It’s always dry and dull for me…
I ran a bunch of free play races last night. I started out setting for clear weather on the first track, then I let the game continue to pick tracks and I kept going with whatever it decided. out of 10 races I had 8/10 in rain, 3/10 at night and 2/10 in heavy fog. Only the first race and 1 in the middle were day and clear.

FM7 does this with ABC lobbies. The RNG will ALWAYS pick rain over clear. They obviously didn’t address that aspect in this game either. The more I pay attention, the lazier this game is.

at this point im done everything and will play once a month with the AFK method to get all the new cars and wait till about 6 or 7 good tracks are added and drift lobbies are back
I’m back on GT7 for my casual racing fix. I don’t have to worry about bumper cars and Ricky Bobby shake and bake maneuver against the AI. So yea, title. That’s me too.

I would love to be able to disable rain as well as night time driving during the career mode.

I get wanting the choice. But man, those are the best, most atmospheric times in the game. It looks the worst in broad daylight when the lighting engine looks the most flat ironically. Overcast and hazy it really gets moody and immersive. Thats the only way I set my freeplay up for.

so i came back today and guess what Prototype power has reset itself when i got a green medal instead of gold cup and was getting that remote data unavailable error when i tried to the Acura event, I also updated my post i made about the career saving issue and green medals etc, World’s most powerful console, 6 year wait and it’s just so broken W T F, i don’t get it surely we can do better and games get tested and used before they come out 
i love forza i really do i love cars too but man I’m over it

Hey, hey. I can agree to a point. I do not mind overcast or hazy. I don’t even mind evening. I really just don’t like driving at night and in the rain in this game (especially rain at Silverstone, which I find to be slippery enough during good weather).
So I’ve just played a bit of FH5 because of the new festival playlist and I can’t help but wonder where the 6 years of development have gone.
FH5 sounds MASSIVELY better and the car models and paints look immensely better. The RAIN look soooo much better. The menus are slick, no loading between screens. The upgrades are all there, I can HEAR the changes to the car, I can MOVE the camera whilst painting and upgrading!.
Come on T10 what have you guys done here?

In no way, shape, or form were FM7’s physics better or more realistic. Not by a long shot.

I am definitively done with turn10 and forza !
Despite being a big fan from fm1…to fm4…then turn10 obviously decided to first make easy money instead of demonstrating gamer respect !
Fm5-6-7 were only surfing on (fully justified) good reputation of original opus as :
no drastic change in cars list,
no corrective action done concerning all main recurent defaults clearly identyfied by community since year !
No engine sound evolution ( still picked up into the same 10 to 15 data base and foolishly applied to the (not needed) 80/85 % copy/paste 500 cars model…sorry but cars/engine sounds during race are flat and lifeless compared to what compétition is offering now (even a couplle of years ago - see Pcars) → try b2b bentley continental gt3 in ACC and the one - even in this last poor so called “innovative forza” …and cry !..that’s to me an immersion killer ! Wonder if ever someone at turn10 knows about benchmark (??)…and what about no exhaust sound change despite applying “race” exhaust line ?? …
Ok. They said having worked on tyres model optimization…night & day & weather cycles…but no need if associated in the same time with the most boring evolution system / rigid and boring too -“carrier” mode… without speaking of all - boring again- reported bugs in all game fields !!..
Hey turn10 ! Wake up ! You are killing your liscence ! …stop thinking you are the best !..you started with gold which is now less than lead 
…carefull also …as being too much overbended looking to your navel…it’s another hole that opens 
… compétitors are there : Keep it up and they will enjoy …it’s already done for me : Thx to game pass which just demonstrated me that your marketing/com dept just lied to everybody…
Now, after only a couple of weeks trial for few € , this “built from ground” forza, that you could have simlply called as “8” is removed from my X serie advantageously replaced by ACC and EA WRC in which i immediately feel enjoyable freedom of playing without any kind of useless and boring constraint and even more important : feeling firstly a real automotive passion from the development team…
Ps : Hope someone at turn10 will realize the real game status reading all those negatives topics…and sorry for potentially poor english coming out my old french brain

Don’t you guys think new Forza Motorsport happened to be a system seller…. but for Playstation? We have all been hyped, waiting for new announcements, waiting for release date, etc. When it finally happened we got something we were not waiting for… but “need for speed” stayed. I read number of posts from people who returned to play GT7 or even purchased or planing to buy Playstation to play decent racing game. I’m planing to buy PS as well. I’m with XBOX since day one of X360, I have purchased FM2 on day one and all other Motorsports on day of their release. Now I decided to check Playstation, well… I may stay with PS moving forward. Good job Turn10, MS expected you will grow sales of XBOX and Game Pass, with new Forza but you made many people move to Gran Turismo. Hmmm…
