My thoughts exactly !!!

I built a pretty nice gaming Pc just for this game. Never been so let down by a game in my life

I love the sounds of the tires squealing around corners. I reminds me of my childhood days when we owned a ranch. We had Cattle, Hogs, and Chickens. The tires remind me of the sounds of the Chickens squawking for their food.

That’s why I didn’t even start with the career mode because they did the same thing with Forza7, where I do all the races first place gold but don’t get none of the achievements it’s bull crap

I mentioned it in another thread. But dude, Hemis have always been done dirty in Forza. They’ve never sounded right. I’ve owned two 5.7s and a 6.4. The closest they come is in Horizon 5 with the Magnum, But that sounds more like a Chevy big block than a Hemi.

We waited 6 years for this game, ultimately to spend 6 months leveling cars in order to spend 6 total days in loading screens so that we could encounter 6 bugs on average every hour all for 6 minutes of entertainment…

The positive feedback from people nearly all equate to
“I like it, its a good game, Its pretty and the physics are good”
I think its great there are people out there with such low standards or just such a lack of knowledge they can enjoy whats on offer here.
But they should not be exclaiming their ignorant and ill developed validation of this games state.
Its miles upon miles away from being an acceptable game, in its own franchise, let alone its competing genre.
Don’t try to validate the devs work with your ill informed delusions. Go enjoy the game if you do.

The game is so bad, that you can create races with 0 laps in freemode. You start the race, drive a few meters and it’s over, the funny part is if you set laps to automatic it chooses 0 laps. That is like the best quality assurance i ever seen in an AAA game.

I can’t believe I’m about to say this but I’m about done myself. MP today was largely a big waste of time with constant issues joining the next event and having to restart the game. It really does get old fast.

I doubt anyone that can make a difference will read this but if your goal is to turn away players then keep doing whatever you’re doing… If these MP events don’t load properly in a week then what do you expect us to do when MP is one of the few good aspects of this game???

If companies were honest…

“Introducing the latest from Turn 10: Forza Motorsport. We’ve dropped the ‘8,’ replaced by a dose of ‘hate.’ Built from the ground down to offer you a uniquely stripped experience. Dive into the love-to-hate car leveling system—500 cars, each just a 3-hour journey to level 50. Plus, our never-ending loading screens between multiplayer events ensure you’ll cherish every idle moment. A game that truly keeps on giving.”

Yes the MP is very good. When it works… Like you, I spend hours and hours, waiting for next event to start, which in turn makes MP not so good. They need to patch this yesterday.

I just had to laugh hard, reading this text. The game is like the worst they could have come up with.

Less cars
Less tracks
The worst AI they are so aggressive it’s unbelievable
The worst ChoreXP, Chorepoints, Chorelevel system it’s grinding for grindings sake without any fun
The penalty system punishes the rammed person not the rammer
The performance and stability basicly everything feels like playing a Beta version
The car physics are just bad, if you ever accidently slided sideways and managed to get back straight without a sweat you know what i mean. FM7’s physics was much more realistic.

If by chore you mean driving a car that feels so good. I am embracing the chore.
I’m glad I made you laugh.

FM7 physics were borderline pathetic, with random spins that did not make sense and just poor quality. After GT Sport set the standards FM7 felt to me like a bad joke. I tried a couple of days and I gave up. But I did not come to forums to find validation. I just moved on.

Accepting the lowest of the low quality standards is “moving on” now, i see.

The lowest quality for you mate. This is a discussion forum. If you feel better by having “better standards” than me congratulations. Enjoy your higher level of standard . I will enjoy the game.

What they done is serving microwave food in a classy restaurant and charging lots of money for it. But the worst part is, the food isn’t even warm enough, no it has to go back into the microwave until it can be eaten.

Oh boy! The vitriol here is borderline impressive…at least it is “borderline”…

So the game has launched with less features and cars than FM7, this is a fact. It does not mean that the game is “terrible” it means that the game has less content…right now. Commenting on the so called grinding, for me this is fun and I actually enjoy learning the cars as the physics in this game is so good that every car feels like it’s own “character”. I’m driving with a wheel and pedals. Here I would like to critique Turn 10 in not making wheel setups for different wheels. I had to go to simracesetups.com. After dialing in those settings the game feels fantastic, not great…FANTASTIC! So for all the minor faults, Turn 10 made a racing game that is almost impossible to walk away from. For me, atleast… Several of you have valid criticisms but when you voice them like a 5 year old thats run out of candy…then it’s hard to take you seriously.

The standard for a good game these days is that it boots and has lights and sounds.
This game is terrible in any other generation in gaming. On objective measurements. It got two things right. And a hundred things wrong. To say “it has less content” is the only downside. Everyone listing all of its problems rarely list the cut content because we all expected it. Theres no reason they cut some of the stuff they did, and other stuff is an outright scam like the FXX K being a trickle release, Or the M2 being released on carpass when it was just in Horizon for 2 years. Edit: Its a completely different M2, very confusing.

Its impossible to take people seriously who ignore the vast swaths of issues to praise them for the one thing they got right and have the gaul to say “Well its not terrible”.
This is why standards are where they are, People like you. People who have standards are strung along with your delusions dragging the whole hobby into the absolute abysmal state it continues to surpass year over year.

The work on display here deserves to be criticized far more than it deserves praise.

Sit here and tell me its acceptable than a team of close to 1000 people were okay with this class lineup.

How about this one.
This isnt a small throwaway issue. Its never been distributed this poorly.
This affects your experience when you race in these divisions. Having whats clearly a car from +2 performance divisions higher racing in your division is complete and utter nonsense.
Having the cornerstone of the Modern Hypercar Era race in the same division as the Aston Martin Vanquish is a ridiculous farce. These are ERRORs. Outright flaws, They’re not based on opinion or personal perspective. They’re measurable incompetence.
They very clearly do not care or possibly worse, do not know how to make this game correctly.
Theres a fundamental disconnect. in this studio between what they’re making and whos making it.
Heck, I just realized they dont even show you the division a car is in in the car list unless you sort by divisions. Nothing in the descriptions or stats say what division it races in.

If you’re enjoying yourself, Enjoy yourself. But this is shameful. And should be shamed.

I was seriously considering to sell my wheel that I bought like many in covid times. After I tried my wheel with the right settings, I bought a racing chair and right now I am building a little rig with pallets and a board from work.

This game must be the best microwave food I have tried in my life.
