5 things I hate about FH3

Here is my 5 thing i hate about Forza Horizon 3, and the reason why i play less everytime i play FH3.

1. The AI / drivatar
I hate the AI in the game, and in all the Forza games, the AI drives like the player is not there, and they are way overpowered, and has ridiculous amount of grip, so they can push you of the road, but you can’t do the same, that spoils the fun in the game, that AI drives like a tank, and do not care if you are on the track or not.

2. Buying / browsing cars
I hate the way you buy a car in the Forza games. You buy a car, and then you are back at the main menu, like, the only car you ever wanted is what you just have bought. It is like Turn10 don’t realise, that there are free cars to be bought, and you have to do the same over and over again, and the menu system, is ridiculous, i miss the system in Forza motorsport 3, where you choose your brand, and looked at the cars.

3. Storefront
I hate the storefront, as it is now. Why can’t i turn the car when i am looking for a paint job for my car i have bought, the only way i can see if the paint job is my liking, is after download, and then the painter has god is money, for at crappy paint job.

That for bringing the storefront back, but no thanks for the way you have destroyed it. Try look at Forza Motorsport 3 storefront, is was awesome, and you could set a price on your things.

4. Selling cars
I really hate, you can’t sell your cars from the garage, like we are used to, in all the earliere Forza games. What did Turn10 think this time? The only way you can sell a car in FH3, is to Auction the car or in a spin, if you have the car in the garage.

5. Where is the fun and fairness
Where is the fairness, when you have to hit those checkpoints and the AI ( I still call them AI, they are not drivatars, and have never been), don’t, and with the amount of grip they have, it is unfair, no matter how you look at it.

So where is the funfactor in a game, that don’t care if you are there or not?

The game looks good, but the rest is not that greate in my opion.

People whinging about people whinging… well then… These threads are a good idea, though whinging yes, to show developers what people don’t like about games so they can improve it for the next instalment… so here is my list.

  1. Drivatars
  2. Low resolution liveries
  3. No route creator
  4. No FOV/POV adjustability
  5. Map Size

Oh look, the classic “whining about other people whining” argument, because it accomplishes so much. And even still, that wasn’t really whining, kinda just pointing out/ ridiculing those whiners…I think.

You know what you guys are right. this game is perfect, there’s no reason to complain about anything.

Viper ACRs and Vette Z06s are muscle cars
a 110 hp panel van is classic muscle
the Vulcan is a hyper car not a track toy
the CTSV is not a super sedan but a muscle car
I love driving BMW isettas
Halo Warthogs belong in racing games
the Mclaren P1 spoiler doesn’t angle in the wrong direction when extended

Everything is perfect!

Oh…and the 53 Jaguar is an engineering marvel, truly ahead of its time.

Point out where we said the game was perfect.

As I said, hearing the same thing over and over again achieves nothing, and the endless negativity is just as pointless about the current game.

If you don’t like it, don’t play it.

Why are you even posting in this thread? If you don’t like the premise of the thread and have nothing constructive to add, then don’t bother reading the thread or posting in it. The thread is titled “5 things I hate about fh3” not “5 things I hate about fh3 chime in if you want to complain about my gripes”

There’s nothing constructive about this thread full stop - my mere comments aren’t going to make a difference lol.

I’m not saying the game is perfect, not at all. I’m also not saying we have to sing the praises of T10 like some deluded oppressed public. In saying that this thread doesn’t bring up anything we don’t know already, thus it’s a mere continuation of the threads we already have.

While ‘hate’ is a word I reserve for far worse things in the world, these two are definitely on point. I don’t need to talk about the AI again since it’s been widely criticised since day one, but not just in FH3’s storefront but in every Xbox One Forza game, there’s no way to preview designs before you download outside of the autoshow. You select a design and it immediately applies it to your car. It’s a waste of time and irritating when the design isn’t exactly what you’re after.
