Surely that would be the equivalent of click fraud
The only part of this game I’m engaged with is Free Play. I can potter about with that doing the things I want to do. It’s me fooling about in a sand pit really.
I can’t import liveries/vinyls from FH5 anymore - for some reason - so that’s kinda the end of that for me on this game.
Career mode is just painful drudgery. Thy enslave you as they need your forced labour to provide activity - so the game doesn’t outright die. So I wouldn’t lay odds on them changing that.
I wouldn’t call it that as I enjoy the SP racing, but since it’s so limited it’s like “Now what?” after the few available series are raced. I feel like I have just sat down, and the next thing I know, there’s nothing more new to race for another week.
I’ve never considered any racing in FM drudgery, a chore, or grinding, because I want to race in this racing game. Some cars are more fun than others, but that’s normal.
I can however see how many don’t want to race so many races in cars they have to drive - just to get 1 reward car.
Sounds like some of the pilots on MS Flight Simulator who “fly” a 12 hour route in real time. Except they only take off and land and leave the autopilot going for 11 hours and 45 minutes while they go to work.
Utterly pointless and damaging not just to the environment but also your wallet.
I revisited Gran Turismo on the PSP a year or so. Launched almost 20 years ago. Handheld, all that.
Now there’s drudgery in that game if you want to raise serious cash of course; it is GT. But I forgive this, for all the tracks that are in that game, all well pretty well presented and there’s a huge variety.
The rendering of the tracks in this game comes across as middling. As I said, I enjoy the flexibility of Free Play but I feel I’m being chained into doing all those races in tracks that become tiresome, that’s a big debooster.
Then maybe a booster seat would help?
For me, Free Play (Test Drive) > Open Division Career (or whatever the by-class career mode is called, I can’t remember at the moment) >>>> Featured Career
At this point I’m fine waiting for tracks since I have the Nordschleife Full, but why the continuous insistence for scarcity for car releases? I understand making new cars from scratch is time consuming, but what about updating textures/materials for older/returning cars? Heck, what about updating textures/materials for existing cars that need it? Sorry, getting off topic now, I’ll stop.
Check out this video that makes the chase cam in GT7 feel more like Forzas
Do you drive on controller or wheel? It appears that while controller is better in Forza, wheel is better in GT7
Thanks for the video. It’s a bit better but still way behind Forza’s chase far camera.
I use controller, and only play far chase camera. In Forza I set it at 65 degrees. Close chase camera, first person, hood, bumper cameras, and background shake or strong/sudden movement brings motion sickness to me.
Didn’t try a wheel with GT7.
I tested a full setup with FH5 once and didn’t like it due to input delay and not being able to properly correct steering after a turn.
that GT7 setting is cool, that def reduces the problem imho
Agree with this. Especially since its a solo offline thing. If it was like horizon where I could complete it with friends maybe. I don’t even have the money to buy the necessary cars this time. Not enjoyable. A grind.
I couldn’t believe how much additional time I needed to invest after logging in nearly a full hour just to complete the first set of corvette races. Really deflated my will to chug away just to get the AM which I so badly want.
What if there were tier goal? Like if you place after Road Atlanta you get a driver suit, and maybe next race you obtain a livery? Would that improve on how many races to complete to get a car?
That’s not a bad idea. Would give an incentive to race as there’s an available goal.
